Quick Strawberry Treat

I wanted to share with you a delicious little strawberry treat that is super easy to make.

As you know, I am working full time this summer which means that I have NO time for work projects around the home.  But just because I don’t have time for projects does not mean that I don’t have time to eat!

A girl’s gotta eat, ya know!  :)

My bestest buddy in the world, Lori, told me about an easy little recipe that she got from another friend of ours, Betsy.

So thank you, Betsy, for sharing this with us!

Lori didn’t  know the name of this recipe when she gave it to me, so I just call it “little pieces of strawberries sitting on sliced creme horns.” (hee, hee)

There are only two ingredients in this recipe!!!  (I don’t even know if you can call this a recipe.)  :)  You can NOT mess this up.

You need one or two packages of creme horns..

And one or two containers of strawberries…

Slice the creme horns into small half inch pieces…

Slice the strawberries and place them on top of the creme horns…

That’s it!!  (Except I would place them on a pretty white doily if I had one.)

And they taste delicious.  I took these to a potluck at work, and my director thought I actually made the creme and pastries by hand!  Oh goodness, no.  :)

So if you are in a pinch, and you need something quick…this is the recipe for you!

(You can thank me later.)  :)

I hope you have a wonderful week!

thanks for sharing. Cream horns??? I have never heard of them will have to check out the bakery isle next time i am at the store. It’s not an isle I frequent. But you are so right. In a pinch it’s a simply elegant dessert that can taste like you slaved all day making the cream.
