Wanna come to my party?

Calling all local bloggers!!!

I am having a Willow House Party at my house next week, August 26th, and you are invited.

Have you heard of Willow House?

It used to be called Southern Living at Home.

My good friend, Lori, is a consultant for Willow House, and I am hosting a party for her next week.

I really do love their  products, and have been adding to my collection ever since Lori has been selling them!

I have several pieces of their Cinnabar collection, and they are my favorite!

At Lori’s last party, I got the Cinnabar square casserole dish and some more of the Cinnabar tidbits.

I  love the little tidbits!  I use them ALL the time, especially on Taco Tuesday at our house!  :)

I give each of the boys their own little bowl of cheese so they don’t fight over it.

Sometimes I use these bowls for fruit or for yogurt.  I even used them last Christmas as a decoration.  I put some white candles in them and added some touches of green pine around it.  It was gorgeous!

Here is the Cinnabar Baker that I keep on my black shelf in the kitchen.  I use this piece a lot too!

BTW, I made those Ballard Designs inspired black shelves last year.  If you want to see the complete tutorial on how to make your own cafe shelves, click HERE.

I have a few more things from Willow House around my house.

Mom bought me these wall sconces for my birthday two years ago…

And she also bought me their cake stand.  I love storing it in the black hutch in my kitchen.

The only close-up picture I had of it was from last Christmas…

Anyway, I am having a Willow House Party at my house next Thursday.

If you are a blogger that lives close enough to come, please do!  I would love to meet you.

Of course, all serial killer bloggers are not welcome!

If you would like to come, and you have never committed a felony, please email me and I will send you my address.  (If I feel comfortable that you are not a crazy person!)

And if I do think you are a crazy person, please don’t take it personally.  :)

I will be taking pictures of the food and fellowship to share on my blog next week.

I can’t wait!

Hope to see you there!

  1. I wish I could come. I’m sure I don’t live anywhere near you.

I have never heard of Willow House and totally love Southern Living. I had no idea they are the same company. You can tell I’ve certianly been out of the loop.
    Hope you ‘party’ goes well.

  2. Hi Tracy! Good luck with your party. I just LOVE all of their stuff and oh how I wish I lived closer. I just read your WWW post and I’m so glad I did! I was a middle child and so was my father. We always had a special bond because of it. Now with a new baby coming, my Amy (who will be 11) is going to be a middle child. None of us thought that would ever happen! I can’t wait to show her that post.
    xoxo,
    Kim

  3. Oh how fun! I love their Cinnabar collection, but haven’t invested in it yet — can I ask, if you know, what’s the heating limit for them? (ex: 350, 400, or 450 in the oven?) I bought some beautiful Southern Living pieces at a yard sale last week (http://kitchen–aid.blogspot.com/2010/08/yard-sale-finds.html), and have been thrilled with! I think you might be too far away, but best wishes for a wonderful party!

  4. I would definitely come if I were close! Those red dishes are making me swoon :) I hope you have a great turnout and now I am going to have to find out if anyone in my area sells that stuff!

  5. I live in Michigan so I am guessing that I am not close enough to attend but wonder if I could order the cake plate from you — kind of a “mail/catalog party???” PLEASE ask your Mom where she got those amazing wall sconces in your living room picture. They are EXACTLY what I have been looking for and haven’t been able to find.

    Love your blog!

  8. Sounds like fun!! I’ve never been to a Southern Living or Willow House party but I do love their stuff! I’d love to come! Let me check with my husband before I commit!

  9. Sounds like so much fun! Southern Living (Willow House) is a favorite here, too. We don’t have too many consultants left in our area, so it was nice to see some of the items in the new catalog! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful time

  10. I hope you have a great party. Cn’t wait to see what you get to add to your collection. I love what you have so far. The Cinnabar pieces are some of my favorites too! I’ve been selling Southern Living, now Willow House, for many years so I’ve been able to indulge my habit at a discount over the years! Looking forward to seeing your post next week…

  11. I love the merchandise! I went online and looked at the catalog. Was wondering if your hostess has a website that we could order from? I live in AZ, a little far to come to the party ut would love to buy!

  12. Oh Traci,

I have several items from the Southern Living at Home line. I didn’t realize they had changed names. Love that cinnabar collection you have. Red is year round color – I just love how you can incorporate it for most holidays.

I wished I lived closer, I would definitely want to come. :(

  13. hey there!!! i might come but if i make it i will be late because i have to take mitchell to LCA for soccer practice. i’ve wanted to come to one of lori’s parties forever but haven’t been able to. that being said, don’t be surprised if i show up…..or if i don’t. lol.

  14. Oh Traci, if you were just having it over Labor Day. We’ll be there visiting our son who is a senior at UK! I haven’t ordered from SL or Willow House in 6 years. I loved their products the last time I looked at a catalog. I can’t wait to see pictures. I hope it is a great party!

  15. I found your blog from Julia’s “Hooked on Houses” blog where you left a comment about her new playroom. Thanks for blogging about Willow House. I’d never heard of them, but I love how you use their Cinnabar red baking dishes. I’m a casserole girl, and I collect (and use!) baking dishes, so I’ve GOT to get some. I’ve already located my nearest Willow House lady, and I want to host a party and start collecting. Thanks, and I will start reading you daily.

  16. Good Sunday Morning, Traci! Thanks so much for the invite! ;o) If I wasn’t just a tad too far away (Delaware), I’d be there in a hot minute! LOL

Good luck with your party. Hope you get lots of great stuff!
