Closet Inspiration

I cannot tell you how happy I am that I reorganized my craft closet!

And I cannot tell you how much I love having this blog to hold me accountable!  Thank you!!!

Here are the “before and afters” of my closet makeover….

But I know that many of you are reorganizing your clothes closets.

So I thought I would show you a few pictures that I found online to give you a little inspiration.

Enjoy!!!

Let’s just say my boys’ closets look nothing like this!

I am wanting to add two hanging bars in my little guy’s room to make more space for clothes.

This linen closet is beautiful!

This looks like a closet/utility room.

This closet would be considered a bedroom in my home…

I like how they added shelves on the far wall of this walk in closet.

This closet is do-able…

I love the way they turned this closet into an office!  I have one reader who is trying to do this!  :)

And then I just had to add this picture because it is gorgeous!  Is this really a closet?  This would be my bedroom.  I would sleep right there in the window sill. :)

So…what have you been working on?  Can’t wait to see your makeovers!!!

Remember, they do not have to be dramatic transformations.

If you just clean, straighten, or  organize the items in your closet….you’ve done a great job!!!

Be proud of yourself!

The Closet Makeover Linky Party is this Friday!

Hope you can make  it.

It will stay open all weekend if you need a little more time.  :)

Have a blessed day!

  1. WOW, that closet office is cuter and more organized than my room office!! Thanks for sharing the photos — working on my master bedroom closet this week … I might be too embarrassed to show the “befores”! :)

  2. I can’t believe how well you organized your craft closet. I love the idea of hanging pegboard on the inside. I redid my super small master bedroom closet last year. It was on the DIY show off.

  3. I, too, was VERY excited about this project. I was able to get it done this weekend, since my husband was out of town. It sure did make the time fly by faster. I am looking forward to Friday, except I might need help learning how to do the whole linky party thing. It will be first time. WAHOO!

  4. Wow. Those are some seriously inspiring closets!! Nice work on your craft closet. Looks great. I think I need to tackle some of mine now too!

  5. Traci –
I love that you are doing this! I just told my husband this past weekend that I needed to do a makeover on my craft room closet. Actually, the whole room needs to be purged and cleaned and organized. Through the holidays, I make so many things as gifts and I let things pile up. I am going to take some before pictures tonight and try to make a list of anything I might need to get to do it. I think we can bet on another snow day tomorrow and I will use it to my advantage! Thanks for the challenge.

  6. I can’t believe you got rid of that shoe organizer! I’ve been thinking about adding one to every door in my house. lol. I LOVE them!

    Your closet looks great, though!

  7. Girl, your closet looks GORGEOUS! I’m planning on doing my linen closet. I was going to do my clothes closet, but I just don’t have time (or energy!) to tackle that! Took my first pics today, and I’m looking forward to getting it organized. Thanks for the motivation!

  8. Last Sunday, I thought to myself, ‘wow our closet hasn’t been messy since we moved here in April.’ Later that same Sunday, my husband said to me, “I like that with our closet I can ignore your stuff. I didn’t even notice until today that your hangers aren’t straight.” Ha! I’m just happy that there are hangers with clothes on them and organized by type. Seriously!
On the other hand, I am anal about where things get put away. We don’t have all of the fancy matching organizers, but things have a home. Today I made labels for where each type of cleaning supplies goes, and my husband said I was intense. It’s all about perspective, I guess!

  9. I’m working on my whole house in bite sized pieces… I’m working on the closet this coming week, and will be talking about it on my blog. I was going to put a bunch of pictures of closets up to motivate people, but now I don’t have to! I’ll just link to your post! Thanks! ;)
