Quick Bathroom Makeover Post {without mouseover}

Hey Friends!

Thank you for all the sweet comments you left on the Bathroom Makeover Reveal we completed at Mandy’s house.

We are really pleased with the way it turned out.

And I hope you liked the “mouseover”  effect on the before and after photos.  I have been wanting to do that forever, and it was a ton of fun.

I will try to do a post about how I did it soon. :)

A few of my readers  (eh-hem…like my cousin, Linda) mentioned they were not able to view the “mouseover” effect when reading it through their reader, or on their phone or ipad.  (If you are viewing my post in a reader, you can click on the post title and view it on my blog.  Then the mouseover effect will work.)

They asked me if I could do a quick post showing the before and after pictures separately.  (Next time, I will do this in my post for you.  I am still learning.) :)

So here are the pics!  Enjoy!

Today we broke ground on the new addition to our home!

It was sooo exciting.  I’ll share some pics soon.

  1. Thanks for sharing the before/after pictures! You did a fantastic job. We just started our bathroom redo & I’ve been a little anxious about it. I’ve been obsessively pouring over Pinterest pictures and blog posts about bathroom renovations, lol. It’s so nice to see pictures of real bathrooms that aren’t the size of small houses :D

  2. Wow! Everything looks great! My bathroom really needs a make-over and your pictures gave me some good ideas! I love the bronze faucet! Do you happen to know how well the bronze finish holds up to homes with hard water? And I mean REALLY hard water! I want to replace all of our faucets with bronze ones, but I’m worried about what the hard water will do to them, and about difficulty in maintaining them. Thanks for sharing!!

  3. I have been catching up on your blog. I was so moved by your posts about your dad’s wedding. I can only imagine how you felt and still feel, at times. You are an amazing person and I pray God continues to bless you and your family.

  4. wow, you and Cy are busy. Working on your addition and another project at Mandy’s house. Fun stuff, right? : )
    Loved your post about your Dad’s wedding. God is so good always! He knew what you and your dad needed and blessed y’all beyond measure.

  5. Are you guys in north Alabama? Because I’ve been driving down Pine Grove and noticed recently there’s an old blue toilet by the street waiting for the county to come and pick it up. To funny to see this post and remember that seeing blue toilet!
