Wow!   You guys rocked August!!!

I was amazed at all the wonderful projects you created during the month of August!  There were so many inspiring projects to enjoy.

I even had people tell me this was the best line up of projects I’ve ever had in one of my monthly linky parties.

If you missed it, click HERE to view all 122 projects!

Each month, I try to spotlight some of the projects that caught my eye in several different posts.  This is my first spotlight post from the August link up party.

I love this farmhouse side table that  Whitney from Shanty2Chic made from wood scraps.

If you have never been to Shanty2Chic, you’ve got to check it out!  Two sweet sisters, Ashley and Whitney, are seriously creative and great with power tools!  Love them!

I think this piece of furniture is beautiful.  Katie, from Wildwood Creek, bought this piece on Craigslist and painted it this bold, fun color!

Wouldn’t that look great in one of my boys’ rooms?  Great job, Katie!

Elizabeth from The Blue Clear Sky created this charming faux grain sack pillow.

I have been wanting to do something like this for the pillows on my couch, so I love the inspiration!  Thanks, Elizabeth!

I just had to spotlight sweet Donna, from Funky Junk Interiors!  I absolutely love her spirit and crazy creativity!

Just the other day, I saw free pallet wood at the Habitat Store and thought, “What could I do with these?”  If something says FREE, it always gets me thinking!

Well, here’s what Donna created with her pallet wood…

An outdoor sofa!

Isn’t it gorge?  So cozy.  So inviting.  See why I love her?!  Wish I could fly up to Canada, Donna, and sip some coffee with ya on that couch!  (Well, not coffee…but an ice cold coke!) :)

Lastly, I wanted to share with you this adorable Vintage Fork Recipe Card Holder from Mrs. Yellow Hat.

I think this would be a great wedding gift, especially if you could find a vintage fork with the bride’s new initial on it!

Tara shows you the steps on how she made it, so if you want one of these cuties for yourself, check it out!

That’s all for now!

I will be spotlighting some more of you next week!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a fun, great giveaway!

Blessings!
