“What I’m Loving” Wednesday!

Hey Friends!

Today I want to share with you a few things that I am loving right now.  Smile

1.  I am loving this song.

It is by Britt Nicole and is called “All this Time.”  If you haven’t heard it before, check it out.  Love the words!!

2.  I am loving this product.

It’s Frizz-Ease by John Freida.

I have frizzy hair in the summer, and this stuff completely gets rid of it.  Yay!  It’s only about $8.00 at Walmart.

3.  I am loving this drink.

It’s called Sparkling Ice, and it comes in delicious flavors and has ZERO calories!

Jonathan said all the teachers at his middle school drink this and love it.  So of course, I had to try it.  It’s best if you pop it in the freezer for a little bit and drink it somewhat frozen.  Yum!  My favorite flavor is Black Raspberry.

4.  I am loving this Bible Study.

It’s a study of Nehemiah  by Kelly Minter.  It’s the first one of her studies that I have taken.

The ladies group at my church is going through this study every Wednesday night, and I am really enjoying it.  It is helping me discover what God has laid on my heart to do.

5.  I am loving this salad.

About once a week, I go to Firehouse Subs and get their Chief’s Salad.  You can pick what meat you want on it, so I get mine with turkey.  I also love the honey mustard salad dressing to go with it and about 10 packs of club crackers.  YUM!

6.  I love this nail color.

It’s called Cajun Shrimp, and it is usually what you will find me wearing on my toes this summer.

7.  I am loving these ladies!

My Haven team!  Can you believe that Haven is only 2 weeks away!  Ack!!

These sweet ladies have been planning this conference for a year now, and they have worked so hard to make it a great conference for all who attend.  I am so very proud of every one of them, and I love them to pieces.  It is such an honor to be on this team and to be a part of their lives.

8.  I am loving this man!

We will be celebrating our 15 year anniversary next month, and I couldn’t be more thankful to be married to such an amazing man.  I respect everything about him, and I treasure our life together!

9.  I am loving this camera bag.

It’s from Jo Totes, and I carry it everyday.  I absolutely love the color and get compliments every time I carry it.  It’s super roomy, and my camera fits in there perfectly with my makeup bag and wallet.  Smile

10.  I am loving this organization.

I was inspired to sponsor a child through Compassion International last month, and I absolutely love being a part of such an amazing ministry.

Our family is sponsoring a 9 year old boy from Equador named Jostin.  The boys are excited to correspond with Jostin over the years.  We are so thankful to God for this organization and this opportunity.

So that’s what I’m loving!

What are you loving today?

  1. Also loving that group of ladies (which includes YOU) for their hard work putting haven together. I am so excited to go, I can’t wait to see some fave Bloggers I always wanted to meet but never thought I would – and excited to meet some new friends too. Woot! Great post.

My husband and I celebrating our 20th this month. It is the 20th, the same day my friend and I leave for haven. I wasn’t going to go, but he knew I really, really wanted to. So we are celebrating a few days later. We have two great men it seems. :)

  2. Yay! I signed up to sponsor a child through Compassion last month too after reading The Nester’s posts about Tanzania!! His name is Justin and lives in the Philippines!! We are really excited about the opportunity & the organization as well! One day, I would LOVE to go to the Philippines to meet him face to face!

  3. That drink and salad look delicious! I could go for that right now (but will wait on the chicken on the grill.) I am loving hot fudge sundaes these days!
Wish I was going to Haven…hopefully next year since it is only a couple of hours away.

  4. I love Cajun Shrimp! I’ve worn it (on my toes) for years. I hope it is never retired.

    Looks cute on you!

  5. You are such a busy lady. Is there anything coming up with Jonathan? I am having Jonathan withdraw. Thanks for sharing.

  6. We sponsor an eight year old boy in Equador named Christian! Although my son is two years older, they share a birthday! I also love the Sparkling Ice drink and my favorite is the grapefruit. It is so refreshing just cold, but I need to try your suggestion to freeze it! I have been wanting that same camera bag and just mentioned it to my husband yesterday. It is nice to hear from someone that uses it and loves it. I always enjoy your blog and look forward to each new post. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family!

  7. “All this time” was used in a video for our dear friends only childs memorial on Monday. Keaton was serving in the Marines in Afghanistan, just weeks away from coming home and marrying his sweetheart. Now whenever I hear this song, I will pray for his parents, Grant & Inger and his fiancee Brittney. Thank you for including it in the things you love.

  8. Love the Britt Nicole song too. She’s one of our artists and she’s the real deal :)

I also just sponsored a child through Compassion last month for the first time and I’m so excited! I had wanted to do it for a while and finally took the plunge.

Can’t wait to meet you and the rest of the Haven team in a few weeks!! Sooo excited!! :)

  9. If you are loving Frizz Eaze — you would love a keratin treatment for your hair. It keeps the frizz out for three months (or more) and you dry your hair in half the time and no longer have to style it. Getting hair from wet to out the door in less than five minutes: priceless. Well. actually, not so priceless, but can’t you get a sponsor to give you one and you can comment on it??? Hubby was upset at how much it cost, but when he saw me out of the bathroom in no time flat, he said it was more than worth it! I used a Groupon! See ya in two weeks at Haven!!! Can’t wait!!!

  10. I’ve been meaning to leave you a comment on all the hard work y’all have been doing on your house. And especially the hard, heavy lifting/ripping/constructing your husband has been doing! What a man! Y’all are just amazing me with this house reno! Anticipating the final results with you!

Also wanted to mention that our family recently started sponsoring a child through Compassion too. We selected a boy close to the age of my son so we could use it as an opportunity to teach him about praying and doing for others (he’s only two so he can’t write letters yet). We’ve been praying for him during our nighttime prayers also. It’s been neat to see him stop in the middle of the day while playing and say “Oscar” and want to pray for him. I hope to sponsor one child for each child we have one day!
