“Best DIY Projects of July” Linky Party!

best of july

July is over, y’all!

Crazy, I tell ya!  CRAZY!

School starts in two weeks for my boys, and their summer will be over.  They are actually somewhat excited to go back to school.  The extreme heat and humidity here in Ky this summer has been unbearable and made things a little boring around the house.

Truth be told, this little mama is ready for school to start back too.  (ifyaknowwhatimean)

So, even though July has flown by, we were able to get quite a bit finished around our home.

Our BEST DIY Project of July would have to be refinishing our antique claw foot tub.

I would like to take some credit for this project, but it was 100% completed by my man.  I was just the water girl for this project. Smile

What have you been up to in July?

I am excited to see all of your projects!

First off, I LOVE that bathtub, your hubby did a great job there! I so wish I had a bigger bathroom, so I too could enjoy a big oll timey bath.. but as it is, my bathroom is teeny tiny. actually have 2 baths, and both you can sit on the toilet, and touch all 4 walls ((:

  15. I’m happy to have found your blog this month and to join this party – love your style! Sure wish I had seen your tutorial before we paid $300 to have our $100 Craigslist tub refinished. There were tub refinishing kits, but I thought they wouldn’t wear as well…after four years of very occasional use, our tub has five chips/nicks. Hmmmm. :-)

I’m sharing how I updated a thrift store bench with fabric I made from drop cloth and a sharpie!
