WOW! August is over, and September is here!
I have to say that I am soooooo excited! I love September, and I love fall.
Even though Mom passed away this month three years ago, I treasure the precious memories I had with her during this sweet season. Mom had a way of making fall so special. Her chili and vegetable soup were my favorites!
I know you guys have been up to a TON of stuff this past month!
My favorite project by far was White Washing the brick wall in our bathroom.
I am THRILLED with the results!

I know September is a really bittersweet time for you, and always will be. But isn’t it wonderful to look forward to another beautiful Autumn? Autumn is the season of homecomings–and what an awesome one we’ll have some day when we see our moms again!
I am excited to be here to link up my bonus room re-do. It’s not very glamorous, but it IS very practical–and I’m amazed at how long it took me to just to get this room set up and decorated! So it was my big project in August. I’m looking forward to cooler temperatures; maybe I’ll have more energy to get more done in September!
