We have been focusing on renovating the inside of our house so much this past year, that we haven’t been able to do much to the outside of our home, especially our landscaping.
We need to work on our landscaping so badly.
One thing that I have always wanted to do, but haven’t, is plant bulbs in the fall to bloom in the spring. Have you ever planted bulbs?
I have always wanted to plant bulbs to beautify my landscaping, but I would also love to be able to cut some fresh flowers in the Spring to decorate my home with.

All you have to do is follow these steps:
Step 1 – Pick your Country
Step 2 – Pick your location within that Country
Step 3 – Choose the type of bulb you want to grow
Step 4 – Check out the Planting Guide that shows you how to plant your bulbs.
So easy!
Garden Guru said I could plant daffodils, which is my favorite flower! I plan on planting some daffodil bulbs this fall to help with my yard makeover.

Fabulous post! I know nothing about bulbs but this would be awesome to have flowers in bloom when we finally (hopefully) put our house on the market this next spring.
Girl, I am a gardening fool! I have a large flower garden in our side yard complete with a wisteria arbor. I did have to “relearn” a bunch of things when we moved to NC from Syracuse several years ago. My favorite bulbs are tulips. and daffodils. and crocus. and gladiolas. and amaryllis. ok, they are all my favorites!
I think Leen and I share the same list with the addition of scilla and grape hyacinth(Muscari), snowdrips and iris . I also plant a lot of lillies, including daylillies and calla,, all of which carefree and just need fertilizing when planting. Snowdrops, lilly of the Valley and Lenten rose (Hellebores) are wonderful for early blooming, often right up through the snow. The Lenten Rose is especially beautiful.
You should really grow some. I don’t even consider them gardening as they come up with very little help. The initial planting is the important thing. I have one tulip that’s been moved around accidentally so many times, yet still comes up. It’s now in the middle of my grass!!!
