Organizing your Home Life {Giveaway!}

I have a confession to make.

I am disorganized and forgetful.

I USED to be organized, and I USED to have a good memory.

But that was WAY before I had kids.

All 3 of them.  I mean 4 of them.  Smile

I don’t know about you, but I just can’t seem to keep myself together.  It seems I’m always running late, forgetting to sign some school paper, or forgetting to pick something up.

I need tools to help me organize my life.

(Well, I really need a full time assistant, nanny, and chef, but that is another post

for another day.)

So I was excited to get a chance to review an online tool to help me keep things organized around my house.

HomeZada provides an all-in-one technology solution designed
to help homeowners manage all the data about their home in a safe and
secure internet cloud environment.

Homeowners can manage the following:

1.  The planning, product research, and financial aspects of home
improvement or decorative projects, as well as

2.  Maintenance calendars and associated to-dos, and

3.   A home inventory for insurance and disaster preparedness.

Basically, this tool gets you organized!

It can help you plan home projects.

It can help remind you to clean.  (eh-hem)

It can help keep you prepared for disasters, like theft.

My favorite part is how it will remind me to do things around my house.

I chose for it to tell me when to clean out our fireplace, and when to clean small appliances, and when to change my air conditioning filters.

HomeZada will even tell me when to fertilize my lawn, when to flip my mattress, and when to throw away magazines (ouch, that hurts).

It also has a place where I can make a inventory of all of my belongings in each room in case of fire or theft.  I can even upload photos of each room if I want.

And if you want to plan out all of your DIY projects, you can do that with HomeZada too!

The best thing is that you can have all of this information on your smart phone too.

  1. Always love your posts! And who doesn’t need more help being organized!

FYI did you know you have a POP up add for Super Mario Bros complete with sound on your website now? Just seemed not with what I usually find here but if that is a revenue steam for you that’s okay too. Just thought you’d want to know.

  2. What a great tool! For me the home inventory and when to change what features would be perfect. Thanks so much for the opportunity! Tracie

  3. Love technology. Reminders for those once a year things, AND the twice a year window washing. It would have to keep harping at me though!

  4. I’m terrible at remembering to fertilize and keep records of belongings updated. Those would be fantastic features!

  5. Wow This would be great! I forget to do most of these things. I would really benefit from the watering the flower, changing the batteries in my smoke detectors and changing the vents.

  6. I need a reminder to take my Ginko!!!
I think as a mom I need a reminder to set aside time for myself. And with this program, I think that just might happen!!! Blessings.

  7. Hello! What an interesting and useful system! My husband and I are both very organized and yet, we would use this to put everything in rather than having lots of systems that help us remember the important Andre necessary tasks involved in running a household. I would be inclined to first use the registry for items we have in each room. We only have a few things written down and, not unlike most folks, we probably would be surprised to find out how much we own if we had to record it. Thanks for sharing Homezada with us! That’s why I love to read your bologna each and every day!

  8. Holy cow, there’s so many things I don’t remember to do! Changing air filters, cleaning out gutters, even cleaning the oven! Yikes… it’s kind of depressing and a little overwhelming when you think about it! Fingers crossed!

  9. This seems like an awesome tool to help with my “sometimers” LOL sometimes I remember, sometimes I don’t lol
I will need help on remembering to buy firewood! We always remember late in the season, so then we are stacking wood in the cold weather.

Thanks for the opportunity to win :)

  10. It all looks like something that I could use but I definitely would like the idea of being able to catalog all of my inventory in each room, with pictures, in case of theft. My house was robbed a little over two years ago and I unfortunately know the importance of being organized when it comes to this! Thanks for the entry!

  11. Where do I start? My life needs a lot of reminders. Inventory for insurance reasons, change filters and so many other things. It would be great to win. Thanks for sharing.

  12. As I read the comments above I see I need reminders also for: AC filter, smoke detector battery, clean ceiling fans, payin g bills, and on, and on, and on. Thanks for the give a way

  13. I could probably use everything they’ve got! But the home inventory is something i need to do. Can it help you clean out the basement? :)

  14. Love the idea and could use MANY reminders! :) A dear friend just lost everything in a fire and is trying to make their inventory list now. Very sad! This sure could be helpful in SO many ways!

  15. Definitely when to change the air and heater filters. I never remember to change them.
