My next Home Depot trip is taking me to…

Happy Weekend, friends!

I hope you have had a good one.  If I have any readers that were affected by hurricane Sandy, please know that you have been in my prayers, and I pray that things are getting somewhat back to normal for you.  Please let me know if there is anything that I can pray specifically for you.

I wanted to quickly share with you about my next Home Depot Celebration of Service trip this coming weekend.

In September, I had the honor of traveling all the way up near Detroit, Michigan to work with the amazing people from Stiggy’s Dogs.

It was a quick, but very special trip.

This weekend, I will be traveling up to Columbus, Ohio to participate in another Celebration of Service event with Home Depot.

I am so excited to meet new people and work together to honor our Veterans.

I will be sharing my trip with you through twitter and facebook, so be sure you follow me both places.  And I will be sure to share my experience in a post as well.

In the meantime, I am going to share another energy saving tip with you.

With the colder weather upon us, it is super important to make sure you fill any gaps and cracks in your home with an insulating foam like GREAT STUFF.  It is an inexpensive way to save money.

  1. Thanks for the great tip, but I’m hoping you meant an INexpensive way to save money! :) I’ll have to check to see if it’s fire-proof as well or if it needs a fire-break.Peal’nSeal is another great product, especially around windows as it doesn’t ruin the paintwork.. HD has the best price.

  2. Traci, when and where will you be in columbus? would love to come by and meet you. I can’t seem to find anything about the home depot event.
