“What I’m Loving” Wednesday!

Happy Hump Day!

I hope you are having a great week so far.  Smile

Today, I wanted to share with you what I’ve been lovin’ lately.

I’m lovin’ this sweet sight….

{One night when he fell asleep with his teddy bear in his arms.}

Right now, Eli loves for me to lay down with him at night, and of course, I do too!  He fell asleep last night with my arm around him and my hand snuggled in between his two sweet little hands.  There is nothing quite as sweet as hearing your child drift off to sleep.

I’m lovin’ this kids’ passion for reptiles.  Smile

Luke got a leopard gecko for his birthday, and it has been nothing but reptile talk every since. sept 036

I swear that kid could talk about reptiles 24/7.  It drives me nuts sometimes, but it is fun seeing your kid so passionate about something that means a lot to him.  He would like to expand his reptile collection, but mama is saying “no” to that right now.

I’m lovin’ watching this kid grow in his passion, music, too.

He played his guitar for the first time in church last Sunday in the Praise and Worship band.

Jonathan is a music loving fool!  He has been playing on his guitar every minute he can since we got him his guitar for his birthday in July.  He has self-taught himself through videos on youtube.

We filmed him singing on his guitar for Kevin and Layla the other day to show Kevin what Jonathan has learned so far. Here is a clip for you.

I am loving this sweet boy.

Adam loves football and basketball right now.  But more than anything, he just loves love.  Adam has the sweetest, most loving heart ever!  He just wants to love and be loved.  He is the child that is always hugging me, loving on me, telling me I am beautiful and the best mom in the world.  If you want to feel good about yourself, hang out with Adam for a while.  He is the great “uplifter.”

Of course, y’all know how much I love this man!

We ran our very first half marathon together in October.  My first, his 6th or something. Smile  We had just finished the race when I snapped this picture.  Wow!  It was tough!  But I am so glad I did it, and I had my best friend cheering me on.

So those are some of the things I am loving right now.

I’m also LOVING that Michael Buble Christmas album!!! I’ve been listening to his “holiday” station on Pandora & turning off the tv during the day! It’s been so nice & peaceful!! I just love this time of year!!

  5. Hey Traci! I too, am enjoying Michael Buble’s Christmas Album. Your Jonathan has quite a talent, his voice is so lovely. Oh and FYI…we started out with a lepard gecko, we now have 3!! LOL

  6. Jonathan has an awesome voice! He can go far with that. Especially praising God. Your other boys are precious as well. You are very blessed.

  8. Traci,

I am totally loving a woman who loves her God, her man and her children! Thanks for being you and for sharing yourself with us, through your blog. I read daily!

    Hugs, Cara

  9. Beautifully said. I love it when you write about your family. It is so full of love when you share. Thank you for all of the love you have for your family as it should be. Love, Love your blog and can’t wait for the next day to see what you have to brighten my day. It is always a plus when you share Johathan’s beautiful voice. Thank you!

  10. Oh my lands! I love those rolls too…the movies…now I’m going to have to buy the cd, because I’ll probably love that too!

  11. Smetimes I get sad because I have a brain injury and my life has not been the same. But I laughed reading your loves list. That’s a blessing. God is good every day. With a TBI my head we have to be careful. Not sure how but a babinet on floor of garage fell over on my head while I was sitting to put a plate inside. I did not reach nor lean on upper shelf. It and all glass on it and lower shelves and cabinet came crashing on my head. I felt odd and dizzy but made it inside to call hubby but passed out. Had to be checked out and though I have a terrible headache, neck and back ache, my ct is fine. God is really good. I love my husband for rushing across town to me and giving God glory for no permanent further head trauma. He is out there doing what he’s been meaning to do. Anchoring the cabinet to the stud.

You have a lovely family and I love when you blog a out them. You so sweetly highlighted what is so special about each one of them.
I have never heard the Michael Bouble album.
I have had those Hawaiian rolls though and they can be addictive. : )
I wish I knew that Johnathan wanted a guitar. I have one that I hardly ever play and I would of gladly given it to him. God had definitely given him the gift of singing and now Ying an instrument. I am always so blessed when you share a video of him singing on your blog.
    Have a blessed day,
    Cheryl

  13. Too many things to count, Traci! God is so good and I’m so thankful for all the things I’m loving… gingerbread lattes at Starbucks, football watching and Christmas decorating with the family, and working off my gift list with thought and intention this year. Good stuff. :)
    Thanks for sharing!
    xo Heidi

  14. I love how your son is learning and playing and sharing his talent for God. He will be blessed and bless so many others in return.

I have a couple Michael Buble CD’s but not the Christmas one. Now I want it…! I bake and Michael sings to me. We are a good team that way. (grin)

I am loving the cozy season of indoor living where we live.

  15. Traci,
I am going to find this Pinterest recipe for you that I made with the Hawaiian rolls and ham and cheese. They are amazing and easy and warm and gooey and oh so good! Gotta love Pinterest!

  16. I am loving the Jesus in you, who inspires and encourages strangers just by being you & sharing your life & heart!! Thank you! I really needed that today :)
