So excited to Meet a Local Veteran!

Hey Friends!

Just wanted to let you know what I was up to this weekend!

I am so thrilled to be meeting a local veteran from Frankfort, Ky as part of my participation with The Home Depot Foundation’s  “Celebration of Service” program.

My involvement with this program has been beyond rewarding and has taken me from Detroit to Columbus, Ohio.

Now, I get to celebrate a local veteran!

Today, I will be delivering a bunch of Christmas goodies on behalf of Home Depot.

Jonathan and Eli are going with me, and I am so glad that they will get to see how important it is to honor our military.

I will share our visit with you this coming week.  Smile

Have a blessed day!

I love our veterans, and I am so happy to be a part of this program. Jonathan and Eli had a great time, and I even had Jonathan sing Silent Night on his guitar for them. It was really sweet.

      God bless!

  3. You are a quit the busy girl and an amazing inspiration to your readers.

What a great program to be part of. My husband is a veteran who served 28 years in the Navy. He did it as his job and never once asked or expected anything in return. Of our 22 years of marriage he was deployed for eight of those years. The last time was just a little over four years ago when he spent a year in Bosnia. Its nice knowing there are programs out there that honor our unsung Heroes. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to pay tribute to a local veteran.

    1. Wow, Michelle! 28 years?! Please tell your husband “thank you” for all his years of service. What a blessing he is to all of us. I am so grateful for all the sacrifices our military and their families make for us each day.
      God bless you!!
