Best Projects of 2012!
WOW! It was a looooong year in this ol’ house!
I seriously cannot believe all that we have gotten done in our home this year. It’s been slow and steady, but we are finally getting there. It was fun to look back to January 2012 and see how far we’ve come.
That you SO MUCH for going along on the ride with me! It’s so much sweeter because I get to share it with you.
Here are some of my favorite projects from 2012….
I finally organized my new pantry…
We installed wood planks on our master bedroom walls…
My blog got a new makeover!
Remember the old design?
I completed my sister’s laundry room makeover {with no help from her, I must say!}
I decorated my kitchen open shelves for the summer…
We refinished an antique claw foot tub for our master bathroom…
We love the faux wood beams from AZ Faux Beams that we installed in our master bathroom!
We white washed the brick in our master bathroom…
The most meaningful project I completed was this fireplace headboard for the Habitat for Humanity family on my GMC/OnStar World’s Largest Yard Sale trip in August.
I’m still in love with the dresser that we painted and turned into our vanity.
I was so thrilled when we finally gave our ugly fireplace an amazing makeover!
I decorated a Christmas tree for the Home Depot Christmas Style Challenge.
I made a rolling yard stick coffee table from a bookcase for the Wayfair DIY Challenge.
Whew! That was a fun year!!! I pray that 2013 will be as wonderful and blessed as 2012. We have some major life changes coming up soon, and I will share all the details with you as soon as I can.
But I want to thank you for a FABULOUS year! I wish you knew how much you bless my life each day. I thank God with all my heart for giving me the gift of this blog. My heart is truly overflowing with thankfulness.
May God bless you and all of your loved ones this coming new year!
xoxo
You have been one productive girl! I can’t wait to see all you do in 2013. We are starting some major stuff here this year too on our old farmhouse. I really want those faux beams you have. We are tearing out a dining area ceiling to expose the vaulted ceiling and I would love to use those!
LOVE that yardstick coffee table! What a great year!
I still am in lovvvvvvvvvvvvve with those beams. I want to touch them inappropriately.
Happy New Year! All your projects were amazing, but the beams did add so much to your bathroom and look so real! I have been wondering how your garden went. You posted when you cleared it all out, but never heard if you all planted anything. can’t wait to see the finished guest bath and addition this year. Thanks for having this blog. CTD
I’m looking forward to following you in 2013 to see what major happenings are in store for you and your family. Thanks for being an inspiration to me an buoying my spirit this past year. You brought a smile to my face as I faced some major health challenges. I’ve not classified this year as being a favorite but I’m looking forward to a new year and a new determination to feel better and smile while reading your blog. Thanks Traci!
You had a very busy 2012, and that was just with your DIY projects!! Love your vanity dresser. Just beautiful. Have a wonderful 2013!!
You make me tired just reading all the things you did in 2012. And this is not counting all the other things on your plate. Just keeping up with bloging and 4 boys (5) plus you worked in teaching and conventions, helping with habitat, girl you are one busy little bee. I am happy that I found your blog and enjoy reading it everyday. Is Jonathan going to be singing any time soon. Well have a happy New Year.
Would you mind telling me what specific beams you ordered from AZ faux beams? I looked at the page and it’s a bit overwhelming. I love how much it changed the room!!!
I remember each and every one of those projects! It has been a fun year but looking forward to a new year with lots of new projects :)
It has been a great year watching you get so much done to your home in such a short time. Just wondering when we are going to get a peak at what you did in the boys new bedrooms? Just can’t wait to see them! Keep up the good work.
