HUGE Life Change for our Family

Well, I have been wanting to share this with you guys for about two months, but I had to wait until now.

There is a HUGE life change happening to our family in the next few days, and it has to do with my husband.

No, we are not getting a divorce.

And No, I am not pregnant.  Smile

As of tomorrow, my husband is leaving his banking job of 15 years and going into business for himself.

Big gulps.

Now, we will both be self-employed.

This is a huge change for us, but one we are very excited about.

Cy has always known that he wouldn’t retire from banking.  He has always been itching to have his own business.  He is not a “sit behind the desk” kind of guy, which I’m sure you can easily see on my blog.  My man is ALWAYS doing something.

For several months now, he has very clearly and strongly felt God leading him in the direction of starting his own business.  It has been obvious to both of us that God was opening doors for us to walk through.  It has been amazing to watch God work in both of our hearts and guide us through it all.

So even though we are nervous and unsure about all the changes, we KNOW that God is in this and He will provide for us.  {Maybe not all of our “wants”, but definitely our “needs.”}  Smile

Cy will have his own spray foam insulation business called, CB3 Insulation.

He will also be doing home remodeling projects on the side.  Right now he is in the middle of a bathroom renovation and will be doing another bathroom/laundry room renovation in the coming month.  I’m going to try and show you as many of those as I can on my blog.

I have to be honest, it scares me a little for Cy to go out into business for himself.  The economy is not the most stable thing in the world right now, ya know?

Plus, I stay home and only bring in a little money from my blog.

And we are trying to raise four wonderful boys.

It’s a lot of responsibility, and some people may think Cy’s a little crazy to be leaving his bank job.

However, there is no doubt in my mind that my husband will make this work.  He will do whatever it takes to take care of our family.  He has never let me down in 15 years of marriage, and I know he won’t now either.  Cy has the hardest work ethic of anyone I know, and I am thrilled that he is getting to do something he loves so much.

He has faithfully worked at the bank {and on side jobs} so that I could have my dream come true of staying home with our children.

Now I am so happy that I get to see him chase a dream of his own!

It’s going to be exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time.  But we are a team, and I know it will work out just fine.

Here’s his large spray foam insulation trailer that now sits in our back yard!

Sooooooo, if you live in central Kentucky, and you need your home or business insulated….Cy’s your guy!

He will also be for hire for renovation projects.  Smile  And I may be helping him in some of those projects too!

Exciting times, y’all!!

Thanks for letting me share this news with you!  I’ll keep you updated on all the changes!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Congratulations!! I know it’s a scary step, we have been there and done that but the Lord has been blessing us for over 15 years now. It’s amazing to me to see God at work! Everything just falls right in place. It’s wonderful that it is a business that the boys can readily help with too. Have you ever considered doing some online decorating consultations?

    1. Thank you so much, Laura! We are very excited about this adventure. And YES, we are going to include the boys in our adventure. :) Jonathan and Luke are going to have their first summer job this year helping their daddy.
I have not considered doing online decorating consultations because honestly, I’m not confident enough to do it. I’m afraid clients would hate my suggestions.
But I am flattered by your suggestion. :)
      Blessings,
      Traci

  2. Good luck to your husband! We had our basement spray foamed in Wisconsin. It sealed our basement up like a warm blanket.

    Christine

  3. I am so happy for both of you! Our God is AMAZING! Many blessings to your family as you embark on this new adventure. Wish you were in Central Virginia … I’d hire him to come insulate our new garage today!

  4. Congrats to Cy for making the leap! God has His hand over it all.

I recently stated workg again after years of homeschooling our children and then working par-time in a prschool. I left the preschool job this fall and am now working my dream job….well, to me it is. I now work in a quiilting shop and enjoy going to work everyday.

I heard this quote the other day on TV:
“If you love what you do for a living, you will never work a day in your lfe.” To me that means you enjoy your job so much it doesn’t even feel like work. That is how I feel in my new job. I hope Cy feels the same way about his.

Cheers to him for chasing his dream. Hug to you both.

    1. Amen to that quote, Cheryl!! Thank you for sharing it with me. And I am so glad that you are getting to do your dream job of working at a quilting shop. What a blessing!!

      Sending hugs back to you!

  5. I wish you Good Luck with this step that your husband is doing and remember: “Happy are those who dare courageously to defend what they love” so, if your husband loves what he wants to do I am sure he will succeed!

  6. That is exciting news! My dad recently retired as remodeling contractor who worked for himself. I wish your husband all the best in starting the new venture!

  7. Congratulations to Cy!! How wonderful he is following his hearts desire. Being fulfilled as a whole person is so important. You and Cy will be successful in this new adventure–he is so talented and hard working–as are you! Blessings to you, Cy, and your boys…

  8. I’m SOOOOOOOOOOO excited and happy for you! You both do AMAZING work…and this is a perfect fit.

I’ll be praying that God gives you peace…..as you walk this road. He’s got this ALL figured out….he simply wants you to ‘trust and obey’!!

    <3 ya,
    Kim~

  9. This is exciting! Thanks for your example of walking in faith and obedience to the Lord! It will be fun to see how He works through your family in this new endeavor.

  10. I didn’t know he worked in banking. He’s always working so hard I assumed he was a full time DIY guy. I’m always so amazed at everything you two do! Good Luck with the new business. I wish you all were in NC….we could use him!

    1. Yep, my guy was a banker for 15 years! He would do what he LOVED in the evenings and weekends!
Now he gets to do DIY all the time! :)
      Thanks for your well wishes!
      Traci

  11. So happy to hear how the Lord is leading you and your husband. Such a breath of fresh air to watch/read about a dynamic duo following the Lord’s calling. If the Lord is calling, then I don’t need to say good luck because of the faith that comes from His calling. Instead I pray y’all are filled with peace.

    1. Thanks, Darby!
We know the Lord is calling us in this direction, and we are so grateful. And you are right, we don’t need “luck” because we have the Lord! :)
      Thank you for your prayers.
      Traci

  12. Hi. Congratulations. Its always amazing whe someone take his chances and take a way by his own. Changes are scary, but at the end looking for your dreams is one of those things that really worth it. Good luck to you both!

    1. Thank you, Ofelia.
You are right that changes are scary. But you are also right that it is worth it when your dreams come true. :)
      I appreciate your sweet words!
      Blessings,
      Traci

  13. Very exciting times albeit nerve wracking for sure! I’ll be sure to remember y’all in my prayers. God is faithful and I can’t wait to see what this new chapter in your life brings. Good Luck

  14. Just recently discovered your blog and I thought your husband was in the construction business ’cause he does such a great job on your home! Congratulations to him on taking this huge step and it will be great!

I wish he was in NY; I could use him on this house. :-)

Also thanks for inspiring me with your projects.

  15. Hi Traci,
What an exciting time for you and your family! I just want to tell you how encouraging your posts are, especially the ones where you allow us to see glimpses into your life. It is so evident how much you adore, respect and proud you are of your husband. Praying for you and your family that his business endeavor prospers and that you will just be blown away at what God is going to do with both his and your pursuits.

    1. Thank you, Mary Anne!
Thank you for telling me you appreciate the glimpses into my life. I LOVE sharing my life with my readers. I hope we all find something in common as we walk this road together.

I appreciate your prayers too. :)
      Traci

  16. Congratulations to you and Cy!! I know that God will see your whole family through this transformation! I am just 25 minutes down the road so I will spread the word for you all if that is not too far (here in the Capitol City).

  17. Congratulations to Cy for being able to follow his dreams! And congratulations to you for being able to support him in what he’s always wanted to do, work independently. At least he gets to do something he loves. When you know, through our Heavenly Father, that the decision you make is the correct one, He will ALWAYS take care of His children. What a fun ride for all of you!

  18. Cy isn’t crazy for leaving his banking job. He has a wonderful wife who encourages him to pursue his true passions. You have done amazing things with your new home, and your posts detailing Cy’s work is nothing short of amazing! If you were closer to Nebraska, I’d hire him in a heartbeat! Our condo could use some sprayfoam! It’s COLD!

  19. How very exciting! I have the biggest smile on my face :) Your faithfulness to God’s calling is so great and I am sure your family is going to be very blessed by this change! And how fun to get to work with him on renovation projects! I would LOVE to get to work with my hubby some day :) Praying for you!

  20. Well, Yippee, & Yay for you & your family. There are many advantages to being self-employed & hope you get to enjoy them all….We have very good friends who are in the exact business & have done extremely well… started out with just 1 & not too long in business, now employs 8 – 9 guys… our engineer son who is also quite successful in his field is thinking about quitting & starting a franchise of the same spray foam… ( he is praying about it : ) I am glad for you…
    Blessings on your new adventure…

  21. So exciting! Congratulations to you both. Being in God’s plans is always the right choice. Obedience brings blessings (the theme of Deuteronomy). I am quite sure God will bless your family for Cy’s obedience. Praying for you guys. Thanks for feeling so comfortable to share this with us. Hugs & prayers!

    1. Thank you, Lisa! I appreciate your prayers. Thank you for letting me share the news with you. The comments have been such a blessing to us!
      Traci

  22. How awesome!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! What an amazing team you guys will make on this journey!!!! BLESSINGS, Terri

  23. Good luck to you and your family! Sometimes stepping out in faith is takes more courage than “others” are comfortable with. I’m glad you are spending your time encouraging and being supportive. Very inspirational! We live in GA (from MI) but wish you the very best. Have fun on your new adventure! God Bless you!

  24. So happy that Cy is taking this step in faith. With insulation paying for itself over a short time, it may be the “perfect” business in slower economy. On some of these side projects, a video DVD that sells for a small price could bring in extra income. There are lots of jobs I’d like to tackle and a video is so much easier than reading about it.

  25. Way to go CY! You can do anything you set your mind to. I live in Louisville and I would pay extra to have you re do my house! If only I could afford it now :(

  26. So brave! Good for you guys.I bet he will be much happier…we recently did something similar, and my thoughts were: better do it now while you’re young! : )
    Way to go for it!

  27. Boy after I read a few posts it souds like you might want to franchise throughout nation? “Cy’s guys” lol!

  28. Congratulations to you, Cy and your boys! I am sure it will be such a blessing! If I lived in KY, I would surely be giving Cy a call for some foam insulation! :)

  29. I know God is going to help you and your husband thru this transition and guide you into a wonderful new life of 2 self employed parents. I wish you the best and I know you will both be very sucessful. When one door closes we know he will always open another.

  30. Oh, boy, oh, boy! I’m really glad for you. I’ll be honest: I know it won’t be easy. Jack worked for banks for many years, and there are lots of benefits to being employed by a bank. Owning one’s own business is hard. But I’m so happy for Cy! He’s so talented and has such a strong work ethic; I know he’ll be successful. Bless you for being supportive, and praise God for the way He’s opened doors for y’all! I’m so thrilled that you’ve been successful enough with this blog to be able to contribute to your family’s living. If anyone deserves success, it’s you and Cy!!

  31. Prayers to you and Cy as you begin this exciting adventure. You have both given of yourself so freely to others. I KNOW God will continue to use you both in this new endeavor.

  32. Wishing your family the best as you follow God’s will in your lives. If God is in it, it will be a wonderful success and a testimony to Him! I pray blessings on you and your beautiful family.

  33. GOD bless you both for having faith that GOD will see your through. And thank you for reminding us all that listening to HIM and supporting each other is something we all need to have in our lives.

  34. Traci,

If God has put his blessing on this decision, then how could it not be a “go”! It matters not what others may think, only what you two and God thinks. It takes a lot of courage to step out in Faith and be obedient to God’s calling on your hearts. What a wonderful example you both are to your four young men, showing them how important it is to follow God’s will for your lives. It’s not many that consult God, before making a huge life changing decision as Cy has decided to make. Or make the change to begin with because they know that God has called them to do so. What a great inspiration and testimony you are to us all. God Bless as you pursue this new venture and Glorify God.

  35. Congratulations, you guys! :) I know that you will do just fine with plenty of work coming your way. Everyone will always be looking for ways to save a buck, or two while looking for the best way to reduce their energy bill. Insulation is a HUGE business up here and pays well, I might add!! It so nice that the two of you will both be doing what you love and get that much more time to spend together! I feel it in my bones that the future for your dynamic duo is bright!!

  36. Oh how I wish we lived closer. I would hire him in a minute heck I would adopt him if I could. We are the parents of 3 grown sons – 38 – 34 (35 on Feb. 4th) and 30. I am married (for 41 years) to the most wonderful man I have ever known, but I would still adopt your husband because of his wonderful workmanship. Honey I wouldn’t worry about raising those boys, you and your husband have done a wonderful job and that stays with a child even as adults. Good luck and I will remember all of you in my prayers.

  37. I KNEW that was going to be the news!!! GOOD FOR CY!!!!. I always wondered about the banking business when he’s so good at all the work he does on your blog. I’m sure he won’t have any problems finding work. I’d hire him immediately….only you’d all have to spend some time in New York. Spray foam has been on our to do list forever. Wish we knew someone…. Happy he’s following his dreams. Now is the time to do it while everyone is happy and healthy.
    Best of luck!!!!

  38. Traci,

I’m so happy that Cy is able to realize his dreams. I just love your blog. It always gives me such a warm feeling inside to see how much you two love one another and those adorable boys of yours. Best of luck to the two of you in your new endeavor!!!

  39. Wishing Cy and your family all the best! I think it is very important to follow your dreams and not be in a rut. The financial side of a successful business is very important too, so I am sure all his banking and business experience will be very useful.

  40. How exciting for your family. You two do great work and I am sure this will be a wonderul advenure. God bless.

  41. Traci,
I don’t normally post comments, but I did this time just to say what a testament you and your family have shown for God and His faithfullness to provide to those who step out in faith believing in His promises. Your obvious respect and love for your husband is so awesome. I’m praying for many blessings to your wonderful family. And thank you for all your great blog posts!

  42. Yay for exciting adventures. Wouldn’t life be dull without them. It’s like when you’re driving in a car on a straight long road (zzzzz) but if they road has twisted and turn (yipee). Good luck to your beautiful family – Enjoy the ride…….B:) xo

  43. I am so excited for you both. I know if you wait for the perfect time to so something like this you take a chance of never making the change.
Find peace in knowing that you both believe that this is the right thing and that you are being lead by God. Have your friends and family bathe you in prayer and remember that God is always with you.
    Praying for you.

  44. Holy smokes! That is life changing but if you don’t do it now, when will you ? Right? Go for it the two of you and if it doesn’t work, well at least you tried and back to banking :) hehe. Enjoy and I think it’s great. Follow your dreams :)

  45. Congratulations! Just make sure to let realtors, builders and inspectors in your area know about your new business. They’ll be the ones recommending you a lot of the time! Go get ’em!

  46. Congratulations to you both for following God’s leading. He will never leave you nor forsake you. I am excited for you both as you move into this new world. May God richly bless you and your business as you support and love each other. You are such a delightful couple and I don’t even know you but it is evident from your hard work, enthusiasm and love. Thank you for sharing your news with us.

  47. I am so excited for you both. God is faithful and when His children follow His direction He will take care of them. I will be waiting for exciting news about how He is taking care of you and your family. Praise His Name.

  48. Good luck on your new venture! There is no doubt in my mind that his new businesses will take off. God is so good. He will provide as you said. Wish I had someone like Cy to do my bathroom remodels. Any chance of moving to the panhandle of Florida? :)

  49. We are sending you all best wishes and I know God will bless you. You both work so hard and I know that you will put everything into the new business. Just think with all of those boys you will have a family business for many years. Congrats!

  50. How exciting! Congratulations!! Y’all near lexington? I have a friend will be building a house as soon as the one they’re in now sales..

  51. Let me just say, I love pinterest! I can always find what I’m looking for there. So with that being said, I’d like to share two of my favorite quotes. First, “Those who walk with God always reach their destination” and second, “The moment you’re ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. DON’T GIVE UP!” Congratulations and many blessings! I know Mr. Handsome, Handy, Hunky and Humble will be a great success!

  52. Quite a step of faith! My son-in-law did the same thing three years ago. He, too was in banking and realized one day that when he picked a career, he had not asked the Lord what He wanted for his life. So he quit the bank and became a teacher/coach. He LOVES it and it is so obvious it is what he was called to do. Even though he took a big pay cut to make the change, the Lord has been faithful and blessed them. I’m sure He’ll do the same for you!

  53. Good luck to you. I’m sure that it feels scary but it sounds like it is the right move for your family. I have worked in a job that I don’t love in order to have benefits, and I wish that I had found something that I loved. You guys go!!

  54. Many blessings with your new endeavor. Don’t let discouragement steer you away from your goals. Being a housewife with an (unemplyed) husband and four children I went into business…it was very difficult and some days I felt I had bitten off more than I could chew, but after many years (10) it suddenly happened. I was so blessed, have been able to help our children and grandchildren. Now I have a comfortable retirement…all on one income (mine). I ended up starting a second business which also became very successful.
Give it your best and you will do well.

  55. My best friend’s husband has a renovation business of his own…he almost has to turn people away, he is so busy in a small town of 21k. His specialty is older home brought back to their glory days. check his website: http://www.houseguys.us. His work is immaculate. I know when you folllow God’s path for your life, He will bless you!!

  56. This is so exciting! I know exactly how scary it is. My husband is self employed and when he decided to go back to school 3 years ago it was so, so scary. How would we make it? What about our 9 children? Our home? Our dreams? It’s been hard, really hard, but we ARE making it and it has been a step of faith every day. What a great place to be….right in God’s hands and knowing it. You’re in my prayers and I am so happy that your husband gets to live his dream. Knowing that about my husband is what gets me through some of the really hard days. Lisa~

  57. I am very excited to hear about this for Cy and your family. I DO live in Central KY and will definitely be keeping him in mind for insulation and home reno projects – he is super talented and so are you so I think God hs ordained this for you all. Have no fears – God is going to take care of everything….

Congratulations and I know where to find you when an opportunity crosses my path!

  58. Congratulations on this new journey! I love that you and Cy may get to work together on some jobs as well. Jeremiah 29:11-13 Go CB3!

  59. How wonderful, Traci! I’m so happy for you guys! I’ll be saying a prayer for your family and for a successful year ahead!

  60. Wow, that’s wonderful. Being in God’s will can be quite the adventure, and He will be there every step of the way- what could be better than that?! Looking forward to seeing His provision and blessings in your lives. Hugs and prayers to you all. :)

  61. Traci, that is so exciting and scary at the same time, I know. 3 years ago, my husband and I started out on a journey and stepped out in faith as well. My husband is a pastor and we had been ministering in an established church for 17 years. My husband started to feel led to start a new church, and as different circumstances arose, it became clear to the both of us that this was what we needed to do. So we stepped out in faith and started as a family on this journey together. We had our official launch on 10-10-10, and 21/2 years later we have been blessed beyond anything we could have imagined, and know we are where we are supposed to be. So I certainly identify with you, it is scary to step out of our comfort zone, and put it all into His hands, but when you are following your hearts and where He is leading you, it can turn out amazing. Thanks for sharing, and I know He has awesome things in store for you and your family:)

  62. If only you lived in Memphis, I would hire Cy tomorrow to put in hardwood flooring and do a master bath renovation. Watching your house unfold I thought many times I thought this guy should be doing this for a living. I know he will provide for his beautiful family. If things ever get slow, he has a job in Memphis :).

  63. WOW!!!!!!!

    CONGRATULATIONS CY & TRACI!!!!!!!

I second Jerri C TN sentiments, come on down to Memphis – we’ll put you to work too!!!!!

I am so thrilled for you both, and will be praying that many many blessings continue to come your way!!!

    Marilyn C. in TN

  64. I am o happy for your family! It is a scary thing leaving what you know to go on to something new, but if you’re following God’s path for you, it might not be easy, but, as you said He will provide for your needs and will see you through any challenges you may face. God bless you, Cy, and your kids on this amazing new journey!

  65. Wow~what wonderful, exciting news. I have followed your blog for a bit now and I am always amazed at the work you and Cy have done on your home. You have been an inspiration to me and, as others have already said, you are following your hearts and God’s plan. I wish you both much success and happiness as you begin this new adventure together. I feel so blessed to be able to hear about you all in your blog and I look forward to watching you all grow in this new business.

  66. WOW! I knew we were kindred spirits when I started reading your blog, and now it is confirmed. My husband is leaving the security of a “stable” job today and going into business for himself today, too. I look forward to tips and techniques you will be using during the transition and beyond, and we can pray each other through this! Blessings on your new adventure!

  67. ahh so bummed I live in PA – we need spray insulation in the new home we’re buying!! bummer :)

I am SO excited to hear about this new part of your journey as a family, and I KNOW that God is going to bless all of you for this decision! It’s so scary to take that leap of faith, but it’s amazing to be exactly where God wants you to be!

The people who are self-employed who have the most success are the people who are extremely hard working and self-motivated, which sounds EXACTLY like your husband! I have no doubts that God will use this for good in your lives! Congratulations guys!! :)

  68. Wonderful news. I’m really excited for you guys! Cy seems like an amazing man and it’s such a blessing that he’s getting to follow his dreams. Can’t wait to hear how it all goes!

  69. Traci,

I am a mother of eleven and my husband has been self employed for 13 years now. He left a career as a manager for a large retailer. God clearly opened and closed doors to help us “take the leap” in leaving a regular paycheck and benefits. I manage his business, run our organic farm, teach our children at home and also manage properties for an elderly friend. We have had prosperous years and not-so-prosperous ones, but through each one, God has amazed us with His goodness.

You and Cy will be fine. You are following where God has led. He has prepared your path for you. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord…as Scripture says. Personally, my first thought was that this might actually be a safer course for your family because of this economy. Let me explain. Our business is tied to the financial industry. We have noticed a real instability in that industry. Banks that, in the past, were expanding, renovating, etc. have stopped doing so. We get requests to install refurbished bank equipment that no bank would have even considered using in the past. They are tightening their belts and it is because the government’s interference in the market place has left insecurity and instability.

I suspect that Cy working in a TRADE industry will actually weather coming financial upheavals within our country better than had he stayed at the bank. Be encouraged. As you already know, the safest place to be is where God places you. I think Psalm 91 will be a real source of encouragement to you. Happy traveling down this new path!

  70. That is so exciting! That takes so much courage, so proud of you guys, this is my husbands dream to work on his own doing something he loves, it is just so darn SCARY when you have 5 mouths to feed. I will be thinking and praying for your family, it will be a success I just know.
    XO
    Kristin
PS..could the two of you be any cuter :)

  71. Congratulations! I’ve been following your blog from a long time now and it amazed me that Cy didn’t have his own business, and did all the DIY as a side job. He is quite talented and I wish Cy and your whole family loads of luck in your new endeavor.

  72. Wish you lived in Texas. I could put him to work at my house!
I wish you the best of luck. Following your dreams is one of life’s most important endeavors!

  73. Congrats! I just wish I lived near, I would hire you guys in a heartbeat. You both do such good work. He will do well.

  74. Oh Traci! As the wife of a contractor, its a tough road sometimes not knowing when there will be money in the account. But, having a happy, fulfilled hubby is worth all of the worries & headaches of self employment! Bless him (and you) for having the guts to do this! Im sure as hard as he works, it will be a huge success for your family…and a great profession for thoes boys to work with Dad in when they get older. Priceless memories!!

  75. Wow, that’s a cool and scary step! It will be exciting to see how God works in your lives through this new phase. my hubs and I are both self employed and our faith has grown tremendously seeing God’s faithful provision. We sure love the flexibility!

  76. My husband left his job in April 2011 to help me with my business. I was worried, but I knew that it was just fear. Now, almost two years later we have grown our business and happy that he left. We will be praying for you guys.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

  77. Tracy and Cy,
I think you all will do great! I can see the sign on the side of his truck in a few years. Cy and Sons.
    God Bless

  78. Hi Traci-
I’m a little late in reading your post because I too am self employed! I work long hours but love every single minute of my job. I know I am where our Lord and Savior wants me to be. I pray every day that He will open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. I pray for His wisdom in my business purchases. I believe I am going down the path He has planned for me. Our Lord has blessed my business tremendously! I will pray for You and Cy as y’all take these steps in continuing to walk where God leads. I am confident that He will bless this new venture.
Although we live in Georgia, my husband is from Richmond and we have a son living in Lexington. My husbands family is HUGE and spread out over Madison and Fayette Counties. I will pass the word of a great business opening up!

  79. Traci, I am so excited for you guys and admire you for stepping out on faith! I know that it will work out, because it seems like you’ve really been listening to the Lord … I wish you all the blessings in the world!

  80. Traci – what an exciting and scary time for you all! We are self employed and have been for 10+ years now in the music industry which is itself a volatile, unsteady industry. It’s an active step in faith and many days we are ‘faithing’ to keep our focus where it should be. Every time we were worried about finances, the Lord stepped right in to provide. I can’t tell you the times we have walked to the mailbox praying for “daily bread” for Him to meet our needs to the penny!

Keep your focus on the Almighty, be good stewards of every cent if you can. We are big supporters of the Dave Ramsey program and being proactive helps a lot.

Best wishes, and when doubt creeps in, hold tight to Matthew 6: 25-34
    Blessings to you!!
