Our Durable New Rug {SmartStrand}

 

We have hardwood floors throughout our house except for two small rooms, the playroom and the office.  And to be honest, the carpet in those two rooms looks disgusting even though they where brand new when we moved in less than 2 years ago.

BOYS! 

We bought a rug for our den just a few months ago, and to be honest about that too, it is already showing some dirt.  It’s so frustrating!

So when I was given the opportunity to get a new SmartStrand bound rug, I jumped at the chance.

Okay, so I’m thinking that if this carpet can stand up to 6 African elephants, that it should definitely be able to handle my 4 sons {and husband!}

Well, to give the carpet a little test drive, I let Adam and Eli make their lunch on the carpet.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches…yum!

They got straight to work preparing their sandwiches.

Adam didn’t even keep his bread on his plate!  He was just enjoying the moment, and I wasn’t worried one bit.

 

It really excites me to know that when they spill something on this rug, I can just wipe it clean with dish soap and a warm wash cloth.

 

 

Because as you can tell, I’m gonna  need to…

Adam spilled some jelly on the carpet, and I didn’t care.

Neither did the boys!  Look at them just chillin’ and enjoying their grub!

When they were finished eating, there were several little spots of jelly that I had to clean up, and they came out of the carpet instantly.

Whew!  That’s good news for this “boy mama!”
