Favorite “PINS” Friday!

I hope you guys have had a FABULOUS week!

We are heading down to the Ky Opry this weekend to watch Jonathan perform in the semi-finals.  Can’t wait!!

Say a little prayer for him.  Smile

If anyone hasn’t told you this week….YOU ARE WONDERFUL!

Why?  Because God made you that way.  He loves you more than you will ever know, faults and all.  You are the apple of His eye.

Maybe you have had a not-so-good week.  Maybe, like me, you’ve made some mistakes.  Maybe you messed something up.  You feel overwhelmed.  You feel inadequate.  You’re tired.

My prayer for all of us is that we would take our burdens and cares to the Lord.  Lay them at His feet.  Sit in His presence and hear Him say…

I just love you guys!

  1. As a disclaimer, I’m pregnant and therefore over-emotional but your wonderful words in the beginning of this post made me tear up…After a particularly frustrating week, thank you for the encouragement! :) I also love the pins! And prayers for your family this weekend-hope it’s wonderful!

  2. Thanks so much for the scripture references. My husband and I are Children’s Church leaders and my daughter was telling us last night about an Adventure’s in Odyssey she heard where there were people calling each other “names” but the names were scripture references. So for example they were saying “You’re Matthew 7:21” “oh yeah! well you’re Romans 3:24!” (Not the actual scriptures used.) But we thought it would be great to have a puppet skit or something (haven’t worked out the details) where the kids got called scripture references – in an effort to get them to use their bible – hopefully they’ll wonder what we’re telling them and go home and look it up. We knew we didn’t want to call them something mean so this post made our job a little easier Lol! Thanks! :)

  3. Love the scripture. Is this a poster the can be purchased? I’d love to give it to my daughter, who is going through a rough time.

    Thank you.

  4. I too love the scripture. You know we will pray for you to have a safe trip to and from, and for Jonathan. Can’t wait to hear how he did and will love to see the video. God bless!

  5. Traci,
Tell Jonathan whether he makes it further in the competition or not he already has a lot of fans! Can’t wait to see the video. The pins were beautitful and just what I needed to get me motivated for my weekend of spring cleaning! Thanks for the scripture and the encouraging words…it’s exactly what I needed to read today after a week of second guessing my worth on so many levels. You nailed it with this one!!!

    Have a great weekend!

  6. Love the Pins this week. Thanks for your encouraging words and love. I appreciate you and the way you share love on your blog. Good luck to Jonathan. He will do a great job. I’m sure of it! He has a loving family who supports him which makes him a winner already!

  7. I too am spoken to by the verses. Thank you. Even more than the pretty pretty houses. You are a Christian blessing. I do not know you, but The Lord laid you on my mind to pray for you. You’ve been through a lot physically lately as well as emotionally. So isn’t it well wonderful that it was not me, but the Holy Spirit that led me to pray? I forgot until I saw your post….blessings
