Favorite “PINS” Friday!

Wow!  This week has been a crazy week.

Our sweet little dog, Champ, is still having difficulties.

Photo

I had to take him back to the vet yesterday because he had been throwing up and shaking non-stop.  They determined that he has a bruised liver, and they kept him overnight to give him fluids.  We are hoping that he has improved by today, but it really could go either way.

It breaks my heart to see him in so much pain.  I’m praying that he gets back to his bouncy, happy self soon.

I had planned on giving you an update on my first week of Whole30 yesterday, but I did not get to spend much time on my computer.  So I will give you an update tomorrow.

For now, here are my favorite pins from Pinterest this week!

Enjoy!

  1. Sending prayers for Champs healing. Your pins are wonderful, but I can’t get past the first photo of you and your little guy. He looks to be the same size as our maltese and I can only imagine the pain you are feeling for him.
    Warmest Regards,

  2. Oh Traci, I am keeping Champ and ALL of you in my prayers. I know how hard this is on you and your family…our pets become such an important part of our families. Love and hugs sweet cousin!

  3. I’m still praying for your little guy. I’m so touched by the look of total love and trust in his eyes. He’s trying so hard.

  4. Praying for your precious little Champ…just breaks my heart when our pets are in pain. Lots of hugs and kisses to Champ!

  5. Pictures you posted are truly beautiful and inspiring. BUT, one ofyoucuddling your sweet pooch is today’s focus – prayers heavenward that Champ recovers fully knowing he is loved abundantly. Best wishes…

  6. I am so sorry to hear about your sweet little dog! It’s so hard to see them sick. I just lost mine last week… I was lucky to have him with me for 16 years. My prayers are going out to Champ for a quick recovery!!

  7. Please know that we are sending prayers your way. Our little Yorkie died of Cancer and oh how he was missed. Can’t even begin to think how this is for the boys. God Bless

  8. As a new mom to a sweet puppy, my heart goes out to you and Champ. Hope things are imprving today. FYI, the beautiful bookcases that you featured were done by Marika Meyer for the 2012 DC Design House. I was fortunate enough to be able to tour the whole house, and her room was one of my favorites. You can see more of her work on her website http://meyerinteriors.com/portfolio. Hope that helps!

  9. Bless Champ’s heart and yours. Do they have any idea how it could happen? It’s so hard when your animal’s are sick and they can’t tell you exactly how they are feeling. Take care.

  10. Thank you for featuring our fall party!!! And I am so sorry to hear about your sweet dog. It always just tears at my heart when I hear about family pets going down. I have my first dog now and really do already worry about the day when something happens to her. I know I shouldn’t and I really try to let go of it, but it is definitely hard when the whole family loves someone so much. Praying for y’all!
