You may be stopping by from Perfectly Imperfect.  Wasn’t Shaunna’s home gorgeous?!  I love that girl!  Everything she does is beautiful. Smile

Yesterday, I shared Part One of my Christmas Home Tour.  If you missed it, you can see it HERE.

For Part Two of my Christmas Home Tour, I would like to share my Christmas tablescape.

Christmas Tablescape

Every year on Christmas morning, I try to have our kitchen table decorate for our Christmas breakfast.  It’s just me and my boys for breakfast, so it isn’t anything fancy.  But I do like to decorate the table to make a simple meal feel more festive.

This year, I was so excited to set a tablescape on my new galvanized table.  You can see how I made this table HERE.Christmas Tablescape

I love decorating with natural elements, so I bought some wood slices from Michael’s {with my 40% coupons} and painted them with chalkboard paint to make some chargers for my table.

Christmas Tablescape

Then I used a piece of chalk to write some words on each charger that remind me of Christmas.

I bought a roll of burlap from Hobby Lobby {again, with a 40% off coupon} and placed three strips of it across my table.

Christmas Tablescape

For the table runner, I got a red and white striped scarf from Walmart for about 6 bucks and cut it in half.  Then I laid it down the middle of my table on top of the burlap strips.

Christmas Tablescape

I love the color RED.  Especially at Christmastime.  It’s just not Christmas without red, to me. Smile

Christmas Tablescape

Then I stained a small piece of wood from Lowe’s with Annie Sloan Dark Wax and placed it on top of the scarf/table runner.  Add a bunch of white candles, and Voila!  Easy Peasy!

I placed a pine cone and fresh greenery in my small red bowls.

And tied my silverware up in a white napkin with a red bow.

Then a red striped straw does the trick!

See my green table in the background?  That’s our Hot Chocolate Bar. My boys are so excited that I finally got it set up!

Christmas Tablescape

We did this for the first time last year and instantly decided that it need to become a tradition.  SmileI usually just add some marshmallows and candy canes to stir the hot chocolate with.

Christmas Tablescape

It is so much fun to make a cup of hot chocolate while watching a good movie or when coming inside from playing in the snow.

Christmas Tablescape

As much as I love decorating my home for Christmas, this is what I love most….

Christmas Tablescape

Sweet Eli, still wet-headed from bath time, chowing down on a Happy Meal on our Christmas tablescape! Smile

Isn’t it true that no matter how pretty our Christmas decorations may

be, it is really the people we share them

with that make them so special?!

I am wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas!
