Custom Leather Portraits by Tergus Fax

Y’all, I get to brag on my beautiful sister-in-law today!!  I have been wanting to share her amazing talent with you for some time!  Smile

My husband has two beautiful older sisters, Ida and Sarah.

They both get their beauty from my beautiful mother-in-law, Elizabeth.

Here is Ida with her mom…

They are partners in crime. Smile  Ida creates one of a kind leather portraits, and her mom frames them for her.  A dynamic duo!

Ida created her first leather masterpiece when she was 18 years old.

Over the years, she has continued to perfect her craft, and it shows in her portraits.   This one that she created of Adam Levine blows me away.  I’ve seen it in person, and it is amazing!

See if you can guess who these celebrities are?…

Did you get them right?

They are Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor, and Lucille Ball! Smile

Ida is great at sculpting celebrities, but she can do custom work as well.

She created this custom leather portrait for a lady in Georgia.  It was created from a picture of her mom and dad.  Her mother had passed away, and she was giving it as a gift to her father for his birthday.

She had a request from a customer who had lost her beloved cat…

Ida created this one-of-a-kind piece of art from that picture…

I LOVE this adorable portrait that Ida did of her own dog.  The detail in his face just kills me!\image_1

I think these leather portraits are so creative and unique and would make great gifts for someone special.

  1. Wow, these are so neat!
BTW, did you realize that the coffee table you recently made (which is AWESOME!) looks like the EXACT same one at the Stitch Fix offices???
    Funny!!!
