I LOVE this holiday!  Not only do I love celebrating this wonderful country of ours, but it reminds me of the celebration of my first born son on July 5th!

My hubby and I stood outside in the street on the night of the 4th fifteen years ago, and I was barefoot and hugely pregnant.  We watched the amazing fireworks in the sky knowing that our lives would soon be changing as we were preparing to become parents.

Jonathan came into this world with a bang that next morning (he was 9 days early,) and he’s been rocking our world ever since.
