Jonathan at the Ky State Fair!
Happy Thursday, y’all!
I hope you are having a great week!
This past weekend, Cy, the boys, and I went to Louisville for the Kentucky State Fair. Jonathan had qualified for the Coca-Cola Classic Talent Competition.
He got third place in his semi-finals’ group, and they called us on Monday to tell us that his scored qualified him for the finals.
We are headed up there again this Saturday!
If you are going to the fair, come by that evening at the Expo to hear Jonathan sing.
Last year, they broadcasted it live, so if they do it again this year, I’ll be sure to share the link on my blog facebook page.
Anyway…
Here is his song from Saturday.
He agrees that this wasn’t his best performance, but his voice is changing right now, and it is hard to get a hold of it sometimes.
We are just thankful for the experience and the time we get to spend together as a family at these events!
Enjoyed the song. Jonathan truly has talent. I wish him good luck.
Congrats to Jonathan! Good luck on Saturday and hope you all have a good time.
I think his voice sounds beautiful! Go Jonathan!!! I love listening to you sing.

His voice gave me the chills and tears yo my eyes. So breathtaking.
I mean to my eyes.

You know how to melt my heart. I love listening to Jonathan. On Saturday please get some close ups. Thanks for this post and sharing with us. No matter if he comes in #1, he will always be #1 in my eyes. Just have fun.

Wow! Jonathan is an awesome singer and guitar player, too. I’ll be thinking of him on Saturday and pray that he has a wonderful experience. You & Cy must be so proud! Good luck, Jonathan!!
I tried tuning in to the live stream but never could stay connected (boo slow internet service!). Anyway, I was thinking of him and rooting him on as usual….I am sure he did great!
