Organize Your Heart – Part 3 (video)

Happy Hump Day!

I pray you are having a wonderful week!

Today is Part 3 of my video series on Organizing Your Heart!

I am sharing how I use a prayer journal during my quiet time.  I learned this method when I was a teenager, and I have used it ever since.  Thank you for letting me share this with you!

  1. Once again, thank you for sharing. I use a very similar method in my prayer time. I think it’s important to let others know time with God does take planning and being intentional, it doesn’t just happen. Thanks for keeping it so simple :)

  2. Thanks for sharing your testimony and prayer journal.
On a side note, I am a make-up artist and I want to give you a tip for your eye shape. If you put black eyeliner on the top and bottom it closes in a small eye and makes the eye look even smaller. Only very large eyes should have eyeliner all the way around. For your eyes, you should only have liner on top. It will lift them and open them up. Just a helpful hint to make your eyes look bigger instead of smaller. Hope it helps!

  3. This was so helpful. I’ve written a prayer journal for several years but I like the idea of organizing it. Do you have any suggestions for a devotional for a teenage girl.

    1. Lucinda, I do not have one off the top of my head, but I was at the Christian bookstore the other day, and I saw all kinds of really cute devotional books for teen girls. I remember seeing something called “God Girl.” Many of them focus on self esteem and other issues young girls deal with. I am hoping to start a bible study for middle school girls, and I was impressed with all that they have out there. I would just stop by your local Christian bookstore and ask someone who works there which one is the most popular. :)

  4. Thank you so much for posting this video series! I made a prayer chart and feel like my prayers are so much deeper! I don’t feel so overwhelmed and feel like I am not forgetting anyone. You are beautiful inside and out!!

    Many Blessings!

  5. Thanks so much for sharing and keep up the great job. I have kept a prayer journal for the past four years. Mine is a little different from yours but the point is the change it has made in my life. My relationship with the Lord has become so rich and personal. Your mom would be so proud of you for doing this.
