Heading to Nashville for a Spring Makeover with Lowe’s!

Guess what?!

In one week, Cy, Jonathan, Luke, and I are headed down to Nashville to complete a Spring Makeover with Lowe’s!

We are super excited to work together as a family on this project.   Jonathan and Luke are amazing helpers and super hard workers, so I know they will be a big help.

About a month ago, I posted about participating in a Lowe’s Spring Makeover event.  Lowe’s is helping out families in the 10 hardest hit cities in the U.S. by all of the nasty winter weather we had this past year.

I was assigned to the city of Nashville, and Cy and I looked through over 20 project submissions of families looking for a little Spring mini-makeover to freshen things up after a hard winter.

We were both drawn to one sweet family who own a brick ranch outside of Nashville.20150505_153935

For this project, we are going to do some Spring Freshening-up!  After talking to the home owners, we have decided to paint the exterior brick, add some new landscaping, and a aqua blue door!

I put some of our ideas in a collage to share with the home owners, and I wanted to share it with you too!

I love how fresh and Springy that mood board feels!

I will be sharing all of the progress right here on my blog next week, so be sure to tune in!

Have a blessed day!!

  2. What an awesome thing for Lowe’s to do! And how great of you and your guys to work on this house. Bless you!

I find myself wondering where this house is in the Nashville area. Did you know that Jack and I used to live in Nashville? Our oldest son was born there. There are brick houses just like this one all over the city! Now this one will be a standout. :)

  3. I am also wondering where this house is. We live in Donelson. I love your mood board. Come see us when you take a break! LOL

  4. Wow, traci this looks beautiful! I wish you were able to do this for my house. That is a lucky family. Have fun.

  5. Hi Traci,
I painted my guest bedroom with SW Watery. My best friend then painted her back door with the same color. We both love that color! Have lots and lots of fun! I look forward seeing the after pictures.

  6. I’m a native of Nashville and still live here so I’m watching closely what you do to this ranch home. I love the color palette already!!!
