Reader’s Christmas Home Tours – Day Four!
Sweet friends,
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for our family and our little girl. I know that many of you I have never met and probably never will, but you are part of my life, part of my story. I truly feel your love across the computer screen, and I am so very thankful.
This past week has been one of the most difficult of my life. The doubts, the questions, the fears, the pain. It has been unbearable at times. But God is still good. We are seeking Him with all our hearts. Your continued prayers are treasured.
A few weeks ago, when I asked my readers to send in pictures of their homes for a Christmas tour, I had many emails sent to me. I apologize that I haven’t been able to post as many of them as I had planned. It has been difficult for me to even be on my computer or keep my mind focused on my blog. But I still want to share your photos. You all were so sweet to send them in. And I want to celebrate your beautifully decorated Christmas homes! So here we go!…
First stop….the cozy home of Donna Coffeen!
Next stop, to Georgia we go!!
Becky Buice said this about her home…
My sister, Dr. Susan Buice and I live together in a beautiful Craftsman style home nestled in the foothills of north Georgia. Our family has called Canton, Georgia home for 9 generations!
We love to decorate in an eclectic style. Most rooms are Traditional with a nod to European Country.
Last stop…Mandell’s beautiful home! ENJOY!
You can follow Mandell on Instagram HERE.
Morning Traci,
It has been awhile since I have been by, but I am just so sorry to hear about the adoption situation. I am crying over here as my heart just hurts for all of you………….what a gutwrenching situation. Know that I am praying hon and especially for that precious lil one who needs wonderful parents like you.
God’s ways are not our ways, but he always knows what he is doing…..hopefully this is just a delay
not a forever thing.
Blessings for a Peaceful Christmas hon,
Nellie
Thank you, sweet Nellie. xoxo
You are right in that we may not ever get to meet in person… But You have been on my mind and in my heart …. praying for you and your precious family…. all of you, including that sweet baby girl that has not come back to America with you … Praying Peace will be in your heart Traci through out this season of peace… “Heavenly Peace”…
Thank you, Terri. It means so much to me. xoxo
Traci, I am all too sorry to say I understand. We brought home newborn twins and loved them with all of our hearts until they were 6 months old. It’s a loss that is hard to understand and at times validate. There is no death and no real loss to an outsider but our hearts are very, very different. We still grieve the loss of our babies but people don’t always realize the deep pain that still remains. My heart lost a daughter and a son. Yours lost a daughter, take all the time you need to grieve and don’t let others tell you otherwise. I will be praying for your family and wish I lived close enough to hug you!
Thank you SO much for featuring my home! And I want to say how sorry I am for your heartbreak. I hope that things all work out.
