Reunited with our Girl (on the other side of the world!)

Hello from the other side of the world!!  Yep!  We have traveled some 15 hours to Eastern Europe to spend three weeks with our little girl!

It has been a roller coaster of emotions, but we are so thankful to be here safe with our girl and soaking up time with her!

We miss our boys TERRIBLY, but we are praying that our stay here goes by quickly and we can get back home to our boys soon!

In the meantime, we are staying in one of the most beautiful places in all the world!  It is truly enchanting and dreamy.  I didn’t know places like this existed anywhere but the movies!  ;)

Our apartment is at the end of this alley, and I snapped a picture on my phone of our girl running home…

Cy and I can hardly believe the unexpected journey the Lord has taken us on this past year.  Never in a million years did we ever dream that we would be on the other side of the world (away from our boys) right before Christmas to bring an 8 year old girl into our family!!  NEVER!!

We have two more weeks here, and we are so grateful to our sweet friends Nathan and Marylee for staying at our house with our boys while we are gone.  And my sister, Dad, Janet, and the whole rest of my family are helping out as well!  We are so blessed with such wonderful friends and family!  TRULY!!  We do not deserve them.

Please pray for us as we continue to bond with our little girl (and miss our boys.)  Pray for things to go well with the adoption process and for our safety going home.
