Favorite Thrift Store Makeovers
Hey friends!
We are on Spring Break and have been having some fun with our family down in Georgia! Here is Pop (Cy’s Dad) with 7 of his 10 grandsons!! Yep! All boys on this side!
These boys have a blast together on Pop’s farm!! It’s one of their favorite places on earth!
I wanted to let you know that next week, I am teaming up with over 20 other bloggers to share our “Thrifty Under $50” transformations with you! I can’t wait to share mine. It is waaaay under $50, and it turned out so cute! :)
In honor of thrifty transformations (which is basically how my blog began,) I am sharing with you some of my favorites that I have done over the past 7 years here on my blog.
Just click on each picture or the link below it to see how I transformed each of these thrift store finds!

Where in GA? I’m a GA girl myself. :-)
Me too. Blessed family you have. All those cousins AND BOYS too. Must be fun.
Really love that office chair! How has it held up? Do you think this technique would work on a “pleather” office chair?
Love all of the thrifty makeovers — I love taking things like this and giving them new purpose and life. Thanks for sharing these ideas!
I would LOVE to try some of these but I never seem to hit the thrift stores on the right day. Either they don’t have anything or are way overpriced for a thrift store item. I’m guessing the key is to just keep trying. ;-)
Just have to say that the young man standing next to grandfather with the boy on his shoulders is a ringer for his grandfather. He even has his hands just like him!
I am so impressed with all those chairs! They all look like something new. I have an old Chair that belonged to my grandmother and I want to give it a makeover someday. Trying to find the inspiration and time to do it.
Thank you, Tanya!
You did a great job with the office chair. Tell me something – if you are to sell it, how much would you sell it for?
ha! I would probably sell it for $50 or more. :)
Great transformations. I would love to spend some time doing this. Thank you for the ideas. Quite inspirational.
Although I always prefer brown, I must admit – it’s a beautiful makeover!
I saw a glass table top makeover u did on Pinterest and was hoping for instructions. It was a metal table, and top was replaced with planks that were flush with top so outline of table still seen. ?
