I’m Here, There, and Everywhere!

Hey friends!  I hope you have had a wonderful weekend.

Are your kiddos out of school yet?

Our boys just finished their last week, which is insane!  We NEVER get out this early! But the timing works perfectly, because we are hoping to be traveling in about a week to get our girl! YAY!  We talked to her on the phone today, and she sounded great.  We usually have an interpreter on the call with us to help us out.  :)  She likes to tease Cy by saying she’s “mommy’s girl,” and “nah, daddy’s girl!”  Then she giggles a lot.

Yesterday, I wrapped her a few birthday presents to take with us on our trip.  We are going to have her a belated “surprise” birthday party.  I am going to take her out for a few hours while the brothers and Cy stay back and decorate our apartment.  I can’t wait to see her face when she walks through the door!

BTW, I am going to be sharing a lot on my social media channels while we are over there, so be SURE you are following along to stay up to date with our adventure!  You can either click on my social media buttons in my sidebar or click below.

In other news, Jonathan and I just jumped on a plane to Los Angeles today, and we are headed to The Voice finale!  WHOOP!  Jonathan is not performing, but we are super stoked that we get to hang out with all of our Voice friends.  I will also be sharing videos and pictures on my social media over the next few days, so be sure to follow along!

When we get back from LA, we are headed to Nashville for Jonathan to work on some songwriting with Tim Timmons.  He is a wonderful song writer, and is known mostly in the Christian music world, but is contracted by Sony to write for other genres as well.  We are SUPER excited about meeting with him!  He is an amazing artist and person, and he has been so helpful to us!  Here is a must-watch video by Tim.

As soon as we get back from Nashville, we are praying we will be on a plane to go get our little girl, and IF we are, it is going to be one crazy week this week!  But I am loving every minute of it!

Oh…and then there is my brand new blog design!  WHA?!  I love it, and will be sharing more information about it this week!

Until then, I pray the Lord fills your heart with His indescribable Joy and Peace!

I’ve been following your blog and your story of your girl with much interest and I hope all goes well for you.
I love the new look of your blog!

  7. I like your ‘new blog’ but the print is very light and hard to read. Maybe you could darken it up a bit and also even making the print just a little bit larger too would be nice. I’m looking forward to hearing all about your trip to pick pick up your new daughter and anxious to continue following you and your family on your blog. Safe travels…

  8. Thanks for sharing! I’m so anxious to see your snaps when you get your little girl. Best wishes and safe travels!
