Sweet friends! We have our official traveling dates to go get our girl! I CAN’T BEIEVE IT!
We will be leaving next weekend, and will be taking Adam and Eli with us. We had hoped to take all of the boys, but Jonathan has some singing commitments he couldn’t change, so he and Luke are staying here. But don’t worry, they are in good hands. :) We have friends and family staying with them and our dog, Bentley, the whole time.
It is hard to believe that we are taking the same trip next week that we took in December to go get our girl. Our December trip did not turn out the way we had planned, and we came home the week before Christmas without our girl, feeling devastated and hopeless.
We had a very hard time making sense of all that had happened, but we kept praying for the Lord to guide us. And then shortly after we returned home, we received a glimmer of hope, and I posted about it on Instagram…
We have clung to that HOPE and have continued to pray. And we are so thankful for all of the prayers you have prayed on our family’s behalf.
And now, IN ONE WEEK, we will be flying across the world again to finally get our girl and bring her home! How crazy is that?!
I can’t wait for y’all to meet her!
During the past five months, we have had to re-do our Home Study and a lot of our paperwork. We have had to pay more in-country legal fees, book more flights, rent more housing….it has not been easy, but OUR SWEET GIRL IS WORTH IT! We are so thankful that throughout this whole process the Lord has provided financially for us, but there are a ton of last-minute expenses popping up as we get ready to travel.
So before we leave, we wanted to do one quick fundraiser to help with our adoption. We have a sweet local printing shop that is going to help us get our tshirts printed quickly, so we can get them in the mail to you before we travel. :)
For our tshirts, I chose the phrase, “there is always HOPE.” It was perfect for our situation, and it is truly perfect for all of us who ever face difficulties or are sometimes in places in our lives where we feel hopeless.
May we always be reminded that THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE. And that HOPE has a name. His name is Jesus!
I added on my tshirt the scripture reference Romans 15:13 which says…
“I pray that the God who gives HOPE will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him. Then your HOPE will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
When you wear your tshirt, I pray that you will be reminded that you are not alone and that your Hope is in Christ.
THIS IS A FOUR DAY SALE
JUNE 2nd-JUNE 5th
My family will help me package and ship them out to you by the end of next week and before we travel! :) Thank you SO MUCH for your continue support and prayers! You are such a blessing to me!
