My Favorite Trends for Your Home

Happy Friday, y’all!

The weather is super chilly here in Kentucky, and I am lovin’ life!  Nothing beats this time of year!  I have a new fire pit in our back yard, and I’m afraid I might OD on roasted marshmallows!  ha! :)

Anyway, earlier this week, I shared a couple of my favorite home decor trends of 2016 in a video with Wayfair.  If you missed it, you can check it out HERE.

So today, I thought I would share with you the resources of where I got my pieces for my home so you can add these touches to your own home if you want.    Instead of just giving you the “trend” pieces that I shared like greenery and copper, I decided to go ahead and try to source everything in the pictures below.

I found some of my exact products for you, but for some, I was only able to find a similar match.  If they were similar, I tried to give you several choices.

The boxwood wreath I shared is the exact one above my fireplace.  (I have two on my front doors now, but they are not in direct sunlight.)   I LOVE this wreath.   It smells a little when it first comes out of the box, but that goes away.   They come in several different sizes, but I got the 20 inch.

I also found the exact rug and throw blankets in my living room.  The rest are matches.  And the custom sign on my wall is from Between You and Me Designs.  My black bamboo chairs were Goodwill finds that I got about 7 years ago that I painted and recovered.  Since they are “originals,”  I found some similar bamboo chairs online.

I found the exact copper pieces that I had in the picture below, but only found similar cake stands, cutting boards, and bowls.

If you have any questions about any of these items, just let me know!  Have a great weekend!!  xoxo

  1. I love the boxwood, but am curious…preserved boxwood not recommended for outdoor use. How is yours holding up? Thanks for sharing your story!
