My Wellness Update! {Bootcamp #2}

Y’all, I started my second “boot camp” of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss program this past week, and I am still loving it!  I wish you guys could get inside my head and body to “FEEL” the difference I feel!

I cannot put into words how much this program has improved my quality of life.  I am really not trying to sound dramatic, but truthfully, the difference IS dramatic.

I feel like a different person.  A person in control of my life.  A person that has energy and a goal that is attainable.  Am I where I want to be?  No.  But am I headed in right direction?  You betcha!

My sister is on her second round of the bootcamp as well, and although she doesn’t have weight to lose, she has loved the results that she has gotten as well.  She is feeling more toned and fit, and at age 50, she looks AMAZING!

Is this program easy?  No.  I’m not gonna lie.  Do I always feel like working out?  Heck no!  But I am thankful for the accountability in our Facebook groups to get it done.  And I ALWAYS feel better after I work out!  That is the truth!

This is a lifestyle change for me, and the program that Amanda offers is something that I can continue throughout my life.  I am learning so much from her, and she is so POSITIVE!  She loves empowering women.

You guys may be able to tell that I am feeling better about myself because I actually did a fashion post yesterday.  ha!  I had stopped doing them last year because I had gained so much weight and just didn’t feel good about myself.

Remember this embarrassing photo I posted last fall of my bootie?  (Still can’t believe I did that!). Well, I actually gained even more weight after that picture was taken and before I started the FASTer Way to Fat Loss in March.  Now, compare it to the picture I took of my bootie this week!  I know that I’m in different clothes, but I still think you can tell a big difference. (I looked for the green outfit I had on in the first picture, but I couldn’t find it!  I was going to try it on and do a side by side comparison.  If I find it soon, I will be sure to do that!)

When I look at the first picture, I see someone who is out of control and unhealthy.  When I look at the second picture, I see someone that is in control and getting healthier!  I am working hard to exercise, make healthier eating choices, and taking care of myself.

Like I have said before, I am not doing this bootcamp to be “skinny.”  That is not my goal.  I am doing it because I want to be fit and healthy.  HEALTHY!

And this program is definitely getting me there!  I feel so much stronger and have so much more energy.  I also feel more focused.

I’m looking forward to seeing the results after my second bootcamp, and I will be sure to share them with you.  I am currently beginning the second week of my second bootcamp, but I wanted to let you know that Amanda is opening up another round of her FASTer Way to Fat Loss bootcamp on May 22nd.

She posted today that the spots are filling up quickly, so if you are wanting to join, be sure to do so soon.

You can do so by clicking the button below:

I’ve had many of my readers join me, and they are loving it too!  If you have any questions at all about the FASTerWayToFatLoss program, just leave a comment, and I will answer them. :)

Have a blessed weekend, friends!!

  1. How much does this program cost and how did you find a gym that was reasonable? Is a gym necessary? Thanks Traci, you look great already.

    1. Hi Dianne. It is $199 for the program. I know that sounds a little pricey, but I it has been worth every penny for me! And I get a “veteran” discount each time I repeat. I go to our local university gym because I am an alumni, and it is just a yearly payment, and really isn’t that much. My son goes to one of those 24 hour gyms and it is only $15 a month for a membership. Amanda provides weekly exercises for the home or for the gym. I like to go to the gym, but my sister has been doing all of her exercises at home. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! xoxo Traci

    1. Yes, but the accountability and resources on Facebook are really helpful. I suggest people make an Facebook account just to use for this program. :)

  2. I’m REALLY toying with the idea of doing this as well but how TIME CONSUMING is it? Is there a lot of reading and program directives, etc. etc.??? I just looked at another program and there was some 60 pages of explanation. Immediate turn-off. Tell, me, too a lil about the workouts. How time-consuming are they?

    Thanx bunches….Roseanne :)

  3. Can you share about the workouts? How many times a week? How long does each one take? Amount of cardio v. strength training? Thanks!

  4. Congrats! Your progress is really noticible. I wish there was a sample week posted on their website of the nutrition and workout plan. Can you share that?

    Thanks!!

    1. Hi Amy! I am reading your comment tonight, and it is late. :). So I will try to share a sample nutrition and workout plan in a day or so. :). Thanks!

  5. If you go through the program once and learn what/how to eat and what exercises to do can you then do it yourself?

    1. Hi Bobbi! Technically, you can, but I like the accountability. It keeps me focused. And Amanda gave us a new workout program with some different/new exercises so we don’t get bored. I also get a “veteran” discount so it doesn’t cost as much. Hope that helps!

  6. I’m going through the program right now and I like it, because as Traci mentioned, there is accountability. To be honest, I’m one of those skeptics when it comes to these types of programs. After I saw Traci’s before/after photos, I thought why not give it a try because anything I was doing on my own certainly wasn’t working. The workouts are planned for you, I do mine at home. You do track what you eat, but I find that extremely helpful. You’re in a group of other ladies so you can encourage each other…or not if that is your preference. I’m already seeing a difference and as of right now, I would definitely recommend this program.

    1. That’s awesome, Melodie! I am so glad you are enjoying the program. I truly wouldn’t share it on my blog if I didn’t think it would help other women get healthy. :) WE CAN DO THIS! xoxo

  7. Traci im proud of you!! You look like you feel good. Ik it was hard to kick the coke habit because its hard for me too. Keep up the good work !

  8. Congratulations Traci – you really have made amazing progress! Taking care of ourselves really isn’t selfish; it gives us the strength and endurance to handle all the other parts of our lives, which is in many ways taking care of our loved ones. Keeping up a workout schedule is NEVER easy….but you have really powered through this !!

  9. Are you doing a third round? I just signed up and am pretty nervous because I’m sooo out of shape and my knees are pretty shot…

    1. And I should add that your progress was the clenchernfir me – dang! Great job and the part about feeling better was all I needed to hear!

  10. Great job. You can really tell the difference and I’m so happy for you. I can tell just in your voice you are feeling healthy and happy. I’m trying to move more but with migraines, I can’t be consistent with anything and its so frustrating. I feel so out of shape and I hate it. Keep up the good work.
