My Wellness Journey Update {Before and Afters Pictures}

Hey sweet friends!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!

I am super excited to give you an update on my Wellness Journey!

If you are just now joining me, I have literally been on a journey to wellness for a few years, trying every type of program or eating plan out there, but I haven’t had any success until my sister and I decided to try the FASTer Way to Fat Loss program this past March.

It is a six week program that focuses on intermittent fasting and carb cycling, plus exercise.  It is super easy to follow, although not all of the exercises are easy to do.  However Amanda Tress, the creator of FW2FL, has recently created a “beginners” version of the exercises.  I did the exercises I could do, and as I got stronger, I was able to do even more of them.

I shared this picture on my blog after the first 6 week round…

Although I could see a difference in my body after the first six weeks, it is HOW I FELT that kept me going.  I felt stronger and healthier both mentally and physically.

I am currently in the final week of my second round, and I am still loving it!  I was going to take “after” pictures next week and share them with you, but the next round of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss program starts this MONDAY, June 12th, and it is almost full, so I wanted to let you know now in case you wanted to join me!

Here are the results of me being on the FW2FL program for 12 weeks….

I blurred out my face because I do not want to see it all over Pinterest!  haha!  I hope you know that it is NOT EASY for me to share these pictures with you.  Especially the “before’s.”  Oh my!

But if it motivates or helps even one of my readers to make a change and start getting healthier too, then it was totally worth it to me!

I look at the “before” pictures, and I remember how miserable I felt.  I had NO energy.  My body had become a burden and was standing in the way of me living life to the fullest.  I felt completely out of control.

After 12 weeks of being on this program, I feel like a completely different person!

(I’m trying not to sound like an infomercial, but I can’t help it!  It’s just true!)

You can ask my husband and kids who have been cheering me on every step of the way.  They have been so sweet and supportive.  They know me best, and they know the person I had become over the past few years was NOT ME.  My boys wanted their active, healthy mom back…

Me in 2012

I know I am not there yet, but I am getting there, and I feel so motivated to stay the course!  I am signing up for my 3rd round of FW2FL which starts on Monday!

Wanna join me?

Amanda will be closing the registration soon, and there are not many spots left, so if you are interested, you may want to go ahead and join by clicking the link below.

If you have any questions at all about the program, you can email me at traci@beneathmyheart.net, or you can leave me a message on my Facebook page.

And of course, I will be sure to share the results of my 3rd round with you right here on the blog!  It holds me accountable.  :)

Have a blessed day, friends!

I want to get my daughter on this program – but she has some time constraints right now – finishing her BS in Accounting – but that will be done the end of July. I think this would be so good for her. She has been under a tremendous amount of stress in the past two years and has not really taken good care of herself – and her weight has increase by probably 30 lbs.

    1. oh, and ps – love the SC hat ! I’m from SC – live in TN now, but I love my home state – good ole’ South Cackalacky.

  12. I am so happy for you, Traci! Both because I love seeing people overcome, succeed and thrive AND because my own journey has been very similar, meaning when you talk about losing yourself and then finding yourself, I 100% relate.

Cheering for you and journeying with you! xo

  13. Traci, you are doing awesome! It inspires me to see an older woman being able to lose weight without following a crazy “fad” diet. I know I am older than you, at least I think I am and I’m going to check out this fitness program. I’m a few weeks away from 53 and the last year or two has seen my belly turning to fat. UGH!!! I applaud your hard work and your willingness to share your pictures. GOD Bless!
