Jonathan’s Recording Songs in Nashville!
Hey friends!
I wanted to pop in and tell you some fun stuff we have going on!
But before I do, I want to say that I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July holiday. :)
We spent it in Georgia with my in-laws and had an amazing time! I hope you got to catch some of my instastories (on the Instagram app) to see where we were staying.
The BIG news today is about Jonathan!!
FIRST, my baby turned 18 years old today!!!
Guys, I am dying over here! How did this happen?! This boy has been a treasure to us all from his very first breath, and Lord willing, I cannot wait to see all that God is going to do through him!
Speaking of amazing things…
We are headed up to Nashville as I type for Jonathan to record his first songs! Over the past year and a half, we have unofficially been working with Michael Blanton (Amy Grant’s former manager when she first got started) and David McCollum. They have providing Jonathan great writing opportunities with some pretty big song writers in Nashville.
One of the songwriters, Brandon Hood, (who has written songs for Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Jana Kramer, LOCASH, Jerrod Niemann, and more,) has been writing songs in Nashville for many years but is now starting to produce artists. He has met with Jonathan on several occasions and wants to produce some songs for him.
Jonathan and Brandon hit it off really well, and he is super excited to be working with him!
So we are headed to Nashville tonight, and to celebrate Jonathan’s birthday, we are going to the GRAND OLE OPRY!!!
I have ALWAYS wanted to go to the Opry, and it is going to be so much fun to be there with my whole family. Josh Turner is performing tonight, and we cannot wait to hear him.
Tomorrow, Jonathan will be doing some pre-production work with Brandon at Warner Studios, and then he will be recording his songs on Friday and Saturday.
WHICH MEANS…..
Very soon, you will be able to purchase or download some of Jonathan’s music!!! YAY!!
He’s has been waiting for this moment ever since he was on The Voice, so I am so excited for him.
And I can’t wait to share his music with you!

I live in the S.F. Bay Area and we have no shortage of beauty but a big shortage of people who love the Lord, there are some but not enough to vote in godly leaders.

Happy Birthday Jonathan! And congratulations on the recording opportunities in Nashville. I too, can’t wait to purchase his music. Seeing Josh Turner tonight at the Oprah will be fantastic. Maybe y’all will be able to meet Josh! I pray that as Jonathan becomes famous, he will always keep his love for our Lord in the fore front and let his faith influence every aspect of his life. Some of my favorite country singers that are strong Christian women are now wearing clothes on stage that are rather provocative, which can send the wrong message to other women and young girls. While I still like their music, I don’t enjoy seeing them as much as I used too.
