Beneath My Heart

Happy 4th from our Family to Yours!

FAITH & FAMILY

4 Jul

You guys!

I am having the best 4th of July because we have gotten to enjoy the simple things in life like sunshine, parades, family, snow cones, and swimming pools.   It truly doesn’t get any better than this!

I’m at my sister’s house a little bit today so the kids can enjoy swimming in her pool.  I wanted to jump on here and wish you a wonderful 4th of July and share a little video of my instastories from this morning.

We live in a VERY small town (two stoplights,) and we have a parade down Main Street every year, and it literally takes me back in town.  It’s such a sweet and simple parade….like straight out of Mayberry. :)

Also, my sister and I will be teaching a class this Monday about essential oils to use during the summer months.

If you would like to join us, just subscribe below, and we will send you a reminder email on Monday with the link to join the online zoom call.

I actually live in the town that is known as “Mayberry”, Andy Griffith’s home town the town that the show was patterned after. Yes small town life is very special, like today, we had our annual 4th of July parade down main street. It began with the announcement for the beginning of the parade and everyone stood, removed their hats, hands across their hearts and we all sang God Bless America! The parade consisted of boy scouts, girl scouts, fire truck, EMS, veterans, golf carts decorated up for the 4th, while throwing candy out to the kids that lined the streets. The parade was followed by a pie eating contest and other fun activities. The only thing better that small town life, is small town life in the South! Hope you and your family had a Blessed holiday!

Sorry about that. I had it set to “private” instead of “unlisted.” It is working now.

No better place to be than in small town america! Loved the lawn mowers. Haven’t ever seen one of these demonstrations in a parade. ha. Was great.
