DIY Industrial Shelves {Jonathan’s side of the room!}
I wanted to show you the industrial shelves I made for Jonathan’s side of the room!
I am not finished “styling” them, but it’s close enough. I finally got the clips to hang his guitars yesterday, and Jonathan is thrilled to have the storage crates finished as well.
Today, I am guest posting at Tatertots and Jello and sharing how I made the rolling storage crates for Jonathan’s wall.

I will be sharing a post this week about how I made these shelves. I tried to share it with you last week, but I just couldn’t get all my ducks in a row.
I still have a little more to do to Luke’s wall, but I hope to finish it soon. His bed comes out from his wall of industrial shelves, so I am trying to figure out what type of bedside lamp I want to use.
Hopefully, I will have an “a-ha!” moment and figure it out.
That’s all for now, friends! The boys do not have school today, so I am going to spend some time with them and get a few things done around the house.
I hope you have a blessed day!!!

Those are awesome!!!
Lucky boys! I wish we could do that for our sons room…maybe one day ;)
Love your shelves! May I ask how big are your boards and what color you stained them?
Those are pretty darn cool….and your styling is perfect!
I’m pinning this for when we actually get around to semi-finishing our basement and moving the ten year old boy to a room down there to make room for a new baby coming in just three short months!!!
Looks great! Did this in my office at work, but could only find 6″ long pipes… where did you find those longer ones (look like 10-12″)? Going to do this again for the house so looking for a better way.
Lowe’s has them in all kinds of sizes in the plumbing section, but you can also get Lowe’s to cut and thread any size pipe you may need.
That looks GREAT! A perfect look for boys.
Love these industrial shelves. What was the cost?
Love those!! I need to come and see their room soon!
Those are great! I’m loving the industrial shelving I’m seeing these days. And my husband would totally be jealous– he doesn’t get to keep his guitars in the bedroom. :)
These are awesome! I just love the “rustic industrial” look and always drool when I see these types of shelving!
Really cute. You should try a wall hung lamp; they have nice gooseneck Industrial looking ones at Ikea for cheap!
I love the way this is looking, Traci! Bet the boys are thrilled!

Great job as usual. I agree with Teresa and go the industrial look for the light.
God Bless
Looks great!
I love the look and all the storage. Aren’t you worried about the wheels on the bottom crates scuffing the wood floors?
Love these shelves. I cannot wait to read more about how to make them. I am going to copy them!
Traci, you have outdone yourself! These look amazing. What a great idea. Looking forward to the tutorial.
How about a plug-in sconce – or one that clips to one of the shelves?? Good luck!! Thanks for the great inspiration!

Love this! My son wants one for his room now. Great way to store his TV and gaming equipment.
