Come Hear Jonathan at His 1st Nashville Singing Gig!

Hey friends!

Happy Sunday!  I hope you had a great weekend!  I had a crazy busy week with the kiddos starting school on Wednesday, and then Jonathan and I spending two exciting days down in Nashville!

Jonathan has a BUNCH of fun stuff going on right now with his music, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

He is almost finished with his first EP, and it will be released the end of September, so you will probably start seeing me share promotions about it.  If you feel like helping us share the good news, we would greatly appreciate it.  We need all the help we can get. :)

He also has something else exciting at the end of October, but I can share it publicly yet.  (eek!)

One thing I CAN share with you is that he is performing his VERY FIRST Nashville gig this coming Friday night at 3rd and Lindsley.  He is opening for a band called the Eaglemaniacs.

“THE EAGLEMANIACS IS COMPRISED OF A GROUP OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIO MUSICIANS WHO PASSIONATELY PERFORM THE MUSIC OF THE EAGLES & DON HENLEY WITH EXCEPTIONAL MUSICAL PRECISION.”

Here is a video of when Vince Gill sang with them. :)

Jonathan is singing a 30 minute set before the Eaglemaniacs take the stage.  The exceptionally talented, Brandon Hood (the producer of Jonathan’s EP,) will be playing back up with Jonathan.  They will be performing a song or two from Jonathan’s new EP, so it should be a lot of fun.  Cy and I will be there, so if you live nearby, we would love to see you!

You can purchase tickets to the event HERE.

That afternoon, before Jonathan performs, he will be going to get the cover photo for his new EP shot by one of the most talented photographers in the world, Jeremy Cowart!!

Jeremy and I went on a mission trip together over 20 years ago, and it has been incredible to watch him grow an unbelievable business.  He has worked with artists like Sting, Carrie Underwood, the Kardashians, Kelly Clarkson, George Clooney, Taylor Swift, Kris Kristofferson, Tim Tebow, and many, many more!!

Jeremy has a huge heart for the Lord and is an incredible visionary.  If you have never heard his testimony, it is definitely worth a listen.  You can hear it HERE.

Jonathan is very excited about getting photographed by Jeremy! :)

I will be sure to share all of the fun next week on the blog, but if you want to follow us in real time, be sure to hop on to Instagram, and follow my Insta-stories.  You can find me by searching Beneath My Heart.

Tomorrow, you will find me with my family watching the solar eclipse.  We will be in the 95% covered zone, so it should be cool!!

Will you be watching the eclipse?

  1. We are flying out early Friday afternoon, or we would be there to celebrate with you. However, by 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, we will be in North Carolina! My son has played that venue several times and it is always the most exciting the first time!! I know he will do well and the crowd will love him.

  2. Congratulations to Jonathan! I know y’all are so proud of him getting the opportunity to fulfill his dream. Since we do not have the safe glasses to watch the eclipse, we will view it online.

  3. Traci, I have a couple of interior design questions for you.
    1) To use a barn door in place of a regular door inside, is it necessary to have a good bit of wall space on both sides of the door opening, or will vacant wall space on one side of the opening suffice?
    2) I hope to have the inside of our home repainted. Right now all of the walls are an off white. I want to change to a grey. I have samples, which I’ve taped up in various places to see how the look. I want to stay away from a shade tha will make the rooms look darker. I do want a grey that will coordinate with the different color schemes I have. What is the best way for me to chose the best shade of grey.
    Thank you!

  4. So exciting! Being a child of the 60s/70s, Eaglemaniacs would be right up my alley! Looking forward to hearing Jonathan on stage!

  5. Thanks for updating us on Jonathan. Its so exciting. Like I said before, I can’t believe I get to comment to his mother…..he’s a celebrity. :) Love his singing and looking forward to hearing more. Have fun at his event in Nashville. How neat for you and your husband.
