Happy Hump Day!

We are on day 12 of my #write31days challenge,  and today we are going to visit another gorgeous farmhouse!

And the best thing is that it is the home of one of my sweet blog friends, Bre.  :) I discovered her blog several years ago when she had just started, and I don’t know if you remember, but she would guest post for me on my blog once a month in 2014.

I fell in love with her style and her sweet spirit, and we became instant blog friends.  I was so glad when I finally got to meet her in real life at Haven, and I was so happy to see she liked to talk a lot and was really loud, just like me! :)

Well, her blog has blown up in blog world and on Instagram.  Basically, she is a rock star, and I think I am going to ask her if I can guest post on her blog now.  hee.hee.

Her home is gorgeous and relaxing, and her living room is one of the most pinned on the internet.  Doesn’t it just make you go, “ahhhhhh……”

Bre is great at layering items to make a space feel warm and inviting.

Did you notice that she has the same Proverbs 24:3 sign in her living room as I do?  Yep.  Well, I saw it in her house and had to have it! Copying is the highest form of flattery, right?

I love all of the warm tones she uses in her home, and she does a great job of mixing the old with the new.

In her dining room, she has used mix-matched chairs around her table and added a beautiful new wood light above it.

Bre is also great at creating beautiful tablescapes.  I love her fall tablescape that she just shared on her blog…so much inspiration!

In her kitchen, Bre has beautiful open shelves, which y’all know I love!

And she has a knack for styling them just right!

If I lived closer to Bre, I know we would be sippin’ sweet tea on her cozy front porch all the time, laughing our heads off and being real loud.

If you want lots of modern farmhouse inspiration, be sure to visit Bre’s blog, Rooms for Rent, and follow her on Instagram.

Have a blessed day!

  1. This looks like a home I could relax in and just feel stress run off of me! The way the light colors are used bring such a lightheartedness to my heart but such cozy feelings, too. Autumn is beautiful in so many states and in Maine it’s wonderful just to take a ride in the neighborhood! My wedding anniversary & birthday are in Sept. so Autumn and late Summer are so welcome. Oct. is a favorite month, too. Actually, I can count my blessings for every month because that’s how Jesus has taught me!
