Modern Farmhouse Moments (#write31days)

Hey Y’all!

I am doing something today for which I am an absolute idiot.

I am joining the #write31days challenge here in blogworld.  It’s a challenge to write every single day in the month of October.  It’s been going on for like 5 years or more, I think.  I will try and find out exactly when it started.  But I have NEVER ONCE participated.  My sister has done it several times, and I always call her crazy when she does it.  I don’t think I have ever even written a week’s work of posts everyday, so how in the world would I do 31 days straight?!!

Well, I don’t know if I can do it, but I am going to try, and I am doing it for one reason and one reason only….DISCIPLINE.   I need to cultivate discipline in my life.  I tend to be a little loosey-goosey when it comes to writing on my blog, so I am hoping this helps me to be more disciplined in my writing.  

So the challenge has been given…and I’ve accepted.   (big gulps)

I decided to write about the three things I love most…farmhouse, family, and faith. 

The majority of my posts will be about modern farmhouse decor and design, but I will also talk about family and faith.  Some posts might be short and some may be long, but the goal is to write every day.  So I hope you will meet me here each day.  Stop by and say hi.  Send me some chocolate.  Give me an encouraging high five.   Cuz I’m gonna need it, y’all.
