Favorite “Pins” Friday!

December 28, 2012 AT 6:00 am 8 Comments

Woohoo!!!

It’s Friday, and I am feeling soooo much better, y’all!

I would say that I am 95% myself again, and I am so very, very happy!

Thank you SO much for your thoughts and prayers.  xoxo

My wonderful in laws are visiting from Georgia, and we are enjoying spending time with them.

Cy and I worked really hard to get a lot of things finished on the house before they came, and I will have to say that our home is the best it has looked since we moved here a year and half ago.

It’s not finished, but definitely looks “homey.”

We finished the guest bathroom, and I LOVE it!  I will share pictures of it with you next week.  Smile

Now here are my favorite “pins” from Pinterest this week….

Enjoy!

{made me laugh}

Get rid of the boy bathroom smell: make a paste of baking soda and lemon juice. spread all along bottom of toilet where it meets the floor. let set until dry (about 10 minutes). spray with white vinegar and let fizz. wipe with damp cloth - ta daa!!

  1. So glad you are feeling better! Can’t wait to see the progress in your bathroom. If you have a moment, I would love to know what ‘white’ you use in all of your rooms? I’m looking for something not too white, but not too yellow, either. Almost at the painting stage over here, after fixing up the walls and ripping down stuccoed ceilings!! Yah!!

  4. So happy you are feeling better. Enjoyed your blog today. I was wondering if you would come down with something as hard as you work. Get some rest.

  5. I’m so glad you are feeling better! I can hardly wait to see your new rooms and updates. I love to see your pins. You have the same tastes as I do. Just wish I could make my house look like those you pinned. Don’t you wish money grew on trees? I just don’t know where I would start! Enjoy your inlaws! Happy New Year Traci! May it be just as fulfilling as the past one has been!

  6. I love the top bedroom, it looks timeless. Enjoy your family and glad to hear your feeling better. God Bless

  7. So glad you’re feeling better! Enjoy the rest of your Christmas celebrations! Excited to see the updates and changes y’all have worked on!

  8. I prayed a lot for you… Your ordeal and then everyone sick. But I thought about your scary ordeal. I hope it’s you as its you I’ve been praying for!! You were scared but the CT was normal and you began to feel better but got a cold later and it hit me…God healed you that day in the ER. We often times are a bit embarrassed when a test shows nothing yet you knew it was so very wrong what was going on. I want to praise God for the mighty work, the miracle He performed that day and that you can write about it and proclaim His goodness and healing and praise Him for restoring your hands and feet to you so that you can do His service of spreading the wonderful news of Jesus, continue being a wife and mom….thank you Lord for this miracle. Amen
