Favorite “Pin” Friday {Kitchen Makeover from 1912 Home}

I love when I stumble upon a new blog and find beautiful inspiration.

That’s what happened when I found today’s pin.

Check out this gorgeous kitchen from This Old Church House!  The owners, Stephanie and Dustin, are renovating this 1912 church into their home.

Isn’t it amazing?!

Check out that wood floor…

I absolutely love the pattern they created on their floor.

I also love the open shelves and butcher block counter top.  {wink}

Those high ceilings are amazing, and do you see that transom window in the upper right corner of the pictures?  {Excuse me as I swipe the drool off my chin.}

I can honestly say there is nothing that I dislike about this “pin.”

  1. Oh my gosh! I’m with you. There is absolutely NOTHING I don’t like about this. I’ve always dreamed of an all white room but I didn’t think about the kitchen being the one.

  2. I love this Kitchen, it’s bright and so clean. All the things mine isn’t. I am being drawn more and more toward white everything. Thanks for posting.

  3. Perfectly beautiful. I did floors just like that in a friend’s bungalow kitchen maybe 15 years ago. They looked beautiful then and it’s good to know the look is still fresh today. I always dreamed of redoing a church for a home…as a teenager our favorite restaurant was a converted church called Sunday’s. It was great eating up in the balcony with the pipe organ! I actually remembered going to bazaar sales there as a child.
    Such a great use of a building. Too bad it isn’t done more often, instead of tearing down such gems. I’m heading straight to this blog.

  4. I’m in-love with your kitchen! Anything just complements everything (if you know what I mean). It’s absolutely perfect! It’s very inviting. I’d love to cook here EVERYDAY!

  5. I have just recently joined your newsletter.
    Your cute and inexpensive Christmas gifts was amazing. Where can I get or make the amazing letters that you use on your trivets.

    thank you, sandy caricari

  6. I’m getting ready to redecorate my kitchen and love your ideas! I would like to follow you on Pinterest and would appreciate an invite. :)

    I’m a dedicated teacher getting ready to retire, and I think a kitchen renovation should be my first “job” after retirement.

    Thanks for sharing your ideas and enthusiasm!
