Favorite Fall Vignettes!

Y’all, it is getting cold and crisp here in Kentucky, and I am beyond excited!!!

Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year!

I was taking a walk two nights ago, and there was a full moon, and the air was so cool and crisp, and I felt this joy bubbling up inside of me.  The kind of joy that makes you want to scream at the top of your lungs, “Thank you, Lord, for these blessings!!”

I literally smiled.  Out there on the road.  All by myself.  It was glorious.

I LOVE FALL.

I love pumpkins, hot apple cider, sweaters, extra blankets, colorful leaves, hayrides, bonfires, s’mores, pumpkin desserts, and more!

It is especially fun to bring some of the beautiful colors of fall into our home as well.  Next week, I am participating in a FALL Home Tour, so I have been trying to add some touches to my own home.

There is a ton of beautiful inspiration on Pinterest, and around the web that I wanted to share with you today.

Enjoy!

  1. We don’t really have a true fall here in southeast Texas but I can’t wait for cooler weather! Yesterday the heat index was 105 and more of the same today! The Lord really knows how to refresh our spirits as the seasons change, it’s always such a renewing to my soul; a fresh start! Take care and enjoy your wonderful weather!

  2. Tracie, I don’t know what’s up but I haven’t been able to see the pictures on your blog in months! Instead it is a long narrow bar in the center of the page. I wasn’t sure if you are aware but I hope it can be fixed soon :)

  3. how wonderful this time of the year.October is so glorious regardless of the time zone one lives in.we really do not have a clear of definition of seasons in so. cal but we do have a couple of apple countries to visit with fresh apples and lovely fall colors and the blazing heat takes a bit of a break.we are praying for some rain to begin the end of our drought. How different are your temps compared with Ohio ??

  4. Beautiful vignettes! I am trying to not acknowledge Fall until the end of October and will hit the beach as much as possible to enjoy the sound of the waves and smell of salt water before I turn into a leaf-raking maniac or an ice statue (based on last few winters in New England)!

  5. My brother just moved to Kentucky from here in Atlantic Canada. He wasn’t looking forward to the warmer weather, and I’m not quite ready to bid summer farewell. As lovely as fall is it is too quickly followed by a long harsh winter. On the upside, we’ve had a prolonged summer this year so while Alberta is having a snowstorm, we’ve still been swimming. These photos are inspiring though, so I’ll have to adjust my attitude and cozy up my home. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Fall is my favourite season as well. I’m sure you’ve been asked this a gazillion times, but where did you get the turquoise blouse you’re wearing in your cover shot? It’s beautiful.
