Lovin’ my Lowe’s!
So y’all know that if I could marry Lowe’s I would, right?
Don’t we look great together?
When I walk through those doors (almost everyday) my heart goes pitter patter. The smell of the paint and the wood. The sound of the lift machines beeping as they back up the aisles. Pure bliss, I tell ya!
That is why when I was asked to be a part of the Lowe’s Creative Idea team a couple of years ago, I thought I had died and gone to heaven!
And when I got an email inviting me to Lowe’s headquarters last month, well let’s just say I may have peed my pants!
It was like meeting the in-laws! But the good kind of in laws, not the bad kind. :)
It was going to be a quick trip, but worth every minute! Lowe’s flew us in to North Carolina, and they spoiled us the first night with a fabulous dinner event. They had our transportation decorated for Christmas…
And they drove us through a huge warehouse to this spectacular scene!!…

The tables were all decked out with Christmas decor. Those white cone shaped trees were made with caulk!

The next day, we were able to visit Lowe’s headquarters. It just happened to be “red vest” day, and all of the employees went outside for a group picture. It had nothing to do with us being there, but I couldn’t help but think that this is what my wedding guests would look like when I married Lowe’s.

In one session, we got a chance to preview some of the 2015 Lowe’s Spring Collection. It’s really beautiful!

We got to go in a special entrance, and we were escorted to the Lowe’s suite to watch the game!

Cy and I had a good laugh over this trip. He said, “How is it that my wife is going to a Lowe’s event and gets to watch the Charlotte Hornets play ball, while I stay home and watch the kids?!” :)
Crazy, this blogging thing. You never know what opportunities may come your way.
Well, I am so thankful to all of the Lowe’s team that put this event together. It was a top notch event. The best part of the whole event was the brainstorming sessions we had with members of the Lowe’s marketing and branding team. They loved listening to us about how we can work together to share their brand and how they can make it the best for their customers.
Lowe’s you melt my heart. :)

the poinsettias are GORGEOUS! Just had to laugh and then comment because your tree initials are so familiar. My three siblings and I all had the initials TLH growing up! =)
Wow! That was so gorgeous! My friend, I believe you have arrived :)
You lucky, lucky gal! I always enjoy your Lowes Creative projects. I hope you enjoyed yourself even more than you say in this post, if that’s possible.
Looks magical that first night
Love the dinner atmosphere…Lowes does it up right : ) You are so fun!!
Sandpaper trees? Brilliant! Fun stuff, Traci ~ xo Heidi
What an amazing trip! And I so could marry Lowe’s too! What a great idea! ;) Thank you for sharing this!
