Hey y’all!! Did you watch The Voice last night? Jonathan and I were in the audience, and we will be there again tonight for the finale! It was AMAZING and so much fun to be a part of! We are loving being around our Voice family again. We will be at the show again tonight, so see if you can find me in the crowd. :) I think I will be on Blake Shelton’s side of the stage.
Today I am participating in a Summer Home Tour hosted by the beautiful Julie Blanner. If you are on the tour, then you just left the beautiful home of Bre from Rooms for Rent. Bre is such a sweetheart, and I absolutely LOVE her decorating style! I can’t wait to hug her neck at the Haven Conference again this year. :)
If you are new to my blog, WELCOME to my old Kentucky home!
Last fall, we built a new front porch onto our house, and I am loving that I now have a space to decorate for all of the seasons.
Of course, every good farmhouse has ferns on the front porch, right? So I placed two ferns on red metal stools to add some color to our porch this summer. I think they look great with my beautiful red geraniums in my new gray window boxes!
Now come on in…to brighten things up this summer in our living room, I added touches of aqua in my built-in bookcases.
Those little touches of aqua in this space really brightens up the area! I like to add live greenery to my bookshelves as well.
In our guest bathroom, I freshened it up with a new white shower curtain and some beautiful pink tulips. At least once a week, I like to buy some fresh cut flowers from Kroger’s when I am grocery shopping.
A lot of times, you can find some flowers on clearance, and they still last a really long time! Fresh flowers are my favorite accessory for my house. They instantly make any space look so pretty!
This bathroom is right next to our little girl’s room, and she will hopefully be home with us very soon to enjoy it. (If you are new to my blog, we are adopting a little girl and will be traveling in about a week to get her! Yay!!)
I added some beautiful pink tulips to my new office space in our master bedroom as well! I love all of the bright colors in this space! This is “my space,” and my four boys are not allowed to use this space. It keeps me sane. hee.hee.
We started adding some new flowers and plants around the outside of our house, and my favorite spot to add bright colorful flowers to the window boxes on our barn.
I hope you have enjoyed the tour of our home, and I hope you come back for more summer decorating when I show you the makeover we did on our back patio in a few weeks!
Until then, enjoy the rest of the tour! Next up is Kennesha from Restoration House! ENJOY!!
