Summer Entertaining with Style! {Idea #1}

Hey friends!

This week on Beneath My Heart, I want to focus on Summer Entertaining with Style!!  I LOVE eating outside in the summer, and bringing the “indoors” outside is one of my favorite things to do for summer entertaining.

I love to make our back patio feel cozy and like it is a natural extension of our home.

Target has been my go-to place for outdoor furniture in the past, and this year, they have some of the most beautiful and stylish pieces ever!  I put together this design board of outdoor pieces all from Target!

The base pieces I chose…the rug, table, and chairs, are all neutral colors, so you can keep this look for years and update it by just changing out the pillows!

Right now, I have a black wrought iron table and chairs, but I would love to change it out for a look more like this one.  I love mix-matching chairs and filling up the space with lots of flowers and greenery.   And definitely don’t forget the outdoor hanging lights!  Those are a must for summer entertaining.  They instantly add sparkle and dress up any outdoor space!

Target is having a great Memorial Day sale right now too!

To get the look that I created above, just click on the affiliate links below. :)

  1. I love bringing the indoors outside by adding pillows and even decorating my outdoor table. Yes it may be a pain to bring it in if it storms, but I love the look and the feeling of having my dining outside! Beautiful suggestions above. Thank you!!

  2. Thank you for sharing this! We have a covered patio we are going to enclose with expandable glass doors that we can open back in nice weather and close during rain and inclement weather. We can also use a space heater to warm it up during Thanksgiving and Christmas when extra eating space is needed. So excited! Love your style!

  3. You are right! Target has some great patio options this year! I bought the striped rug right before it went on sale with a solar lantern,planter, and some lights. Great prices. My neighbor’s love the rug too.

  4. I am very disappointed that you are shopping at Target with their support of men in rest rooms and changing rooms. I will not be shopping there until this policy is changed.
