Nobody Loves Me Like You

Friends, I hope you are having a blessed Sunday.  I have a song that I can’t stop listening to, and I wanted to share it with you.  It’s called “Nobody Loves Me Like You,” by Chris Tomlin.

If you have never heard this song before, please take just a couple minutes to listen to it now and soak up the words.

And if you have already heard it, listen to it again.  We can never hear about how much God loves us too many times! :)

The first verse almost ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes!

“Morning, I see You in the sunrise every morning
It’s like a picture that You’ve painted for me
A love letter in the sky.”

That first verse reminds me of one of my favorite verses,  Lamentations 3:22-24…

The Lord‘s unfailing love and mercy still continue,
Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.
The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.

We never get up in the morning and wonder if the sun will rise.  We expect it.  We count on it.  God made it just for you.  “A love letter in the sky.”  We just have to open it and receive it.

Just the same, we never have to get up in the morning and wonder if God will still love us.  We can expect it.  We can count on it.

It doesn’t matter what you have done or what you have been through, you NEVER how have to doubt the love the Father has for you!  He loved you then, loves you now, and will love you always!

“Story, I could’ve had a really different story
But You came down from heaven to restore me
Forever saved my life.”

We all have a story.  Some of our stories have been more difficult than others, but all of our stories matter.  Let me tell you this…your story is BEAUTIFUL!  And God is not finished writing it.  God came down to redeem our stories and to write a glorious ending.  We just have to give our lives to Him and let Him do the writing, which can be really hard sometimes, but so worth it.

“Mountains, You’re breaking down the weight of all my mountains
Even when it feels like I’m surrounded
You never leave my side.”

Friends, you may have mountains in front of you right now that you think you will never be able to get over.  But even as I write this post, God is in the process of breaking down those mountains.  He will stay by your side and see you through them.  And you WILL make it to the other side of those mountains and one day look back and say, “He was with me all the way.”

“Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus
I stand in awe of Your amazing ways
I worship You as long as I am breathing
God, You are faithful and true
Nobody loves me like You.”

My husband loves me, my kids adore me, and my daddy thinks I hung the moon…but NOTHING compares to the Love Jesus has for me!

His Love is good and constant and pure and trustworthy and SO MUCH MORE.  His love is the only love that I have ever known that fills my heart with TRUE, EVERLASTING PEACE.

I pray today that the Lord fills YOUR heart with that same everlasting Peace.  May you know TODAY that NOBODY loves you like HE loves you!

To God be the Glory!

xoxo

  1. Jesus was with us yesterday, He is with us right now, and will be with us tomorrow and throughout eternity! Did He promise us a pain free life? Nope! But He will always see us through the trials and pain and that’s a promise I rest on a LOT! God bless, Traci!

  2. Thank you Traci, God used you today for a much needed reminder of God’s love for us. My husband and I are experiencing some battles and Satan has been trying to bring discouragement into our home. We know God is faithful in all things and we have brighter days coming!
Love and blessings to you and your family.

    1. Yes, Ruth! Satan works overtime to steal our joy, but hang in there. May the Lord reveal the blessings he is surrounding you with each day! xoxo Traci

  3. Just read your blog this Monday morning in Tampa, FL. The Lamentations bible verse was the verse of the day on the JOY-FM this morning! Was wonderful to see it in writing when I opened up your blog. I’m sitting here at my office teary eyed reading your writings. Thank you for making Monday so joyous. (BTW) We are Lex., KY transplants – GO CATS!

  4. Traci, I watched the video and listened to the song last night. WOW! That was my first time hearing it. I immediately bought it so that I can listen to it again and again. The words made me smile and feel so secure. One song that makes me cry every time I hear it and/or sing it is JUST AS I AM. When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior way back when, that was the song we were singing. Precious memories. God bless!

    1. Hi Ginger! Yes, the words of this song just speak to my heart! JUST AS I AM is a favorite of mine too. Melts me every time I hear it and makes me think of being in church as a child with my family. Precious memories for sure! xoxo

  5. Thank you Traci….I needed this. Going through a very difficult time with migraines…..have for years and years and I needed to hear this.
