WE CLOSED ON OUR NEW HOME IN…

Well, friends!  We did it!

We closed on our new home!!  I cannot believe it!

On Monday, we closed on our Kentucky home, and we have been packing up all week.  Some of Cy’s friends came over and helped us load the uhaul on Wednesday night.

Once it was filled to the brim, it was time to head to our new home. We drove down Thursday night and closed on our home Friday morning!

I don’t think it will be a surprise to many of you, but our new home is in……..

NASHVILLE, BABY!!!!

Well, technically we are right outside of Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee, and we couldn’t be more happier!!!  Our whole family is excited about this new adventure, and we cannot wait to share it with you!!!

We are looking forward to transforming our fixer upper, and you’ll be able to find it all right here on the blog over the coming weeks and months!

About an hour after the closing today, we were already tearing down walls and ripping up floors!  We don’t waste any time!  haha!!

Luke is going to be videotaping the home reno, and we will be sharing the videos with you here on the blog, on Instagram, and Facebook.

I was hoping to share my announcement earlier in the day, but we were so busy that I had to wait until we all got back home.

Oh…and by “home,” I mean Jonathan’s apartment!  That will be our temporary “home” for the next few weeks while we renovate our real home.  Yep!  All seven of us will be living in his two bedroom apartment.  Lord help us!  haha!

I’ll be sharing more on my Instagram stories next week, so if you don’t follow me over there, you can do so by clicking HERE.

AND THANK YOU so much for all of your prayers and sweet words during this transition!  You guys are truly the best!!!

We have a lot of exciting things around the corner, so I hope you will follow along!

Love from Nashville,

Traci

Yes, reno is rough, but with a handy & hard-working crew like yours, I’m sure it will be transforming quickly. =) I absolutely love how your family works together! <3 I will be watching closely (for great ideas!) since I just put an offer in on a foreclosure yesterday that also needs a lot of work! The only difference is that I am working by myself! Wishing I had helpers like yours! LoL Blessings to you & yours!

    1. The flip house is in the same town as our Kentucky home, Wilmore. We sold our home, but we have decided to keep the flip house for a “home base” when we come back to visit in Kentucky.
