Jonathan on TV {Best of the Bluegrass!}

Hello friends!

I hope you are having a good week!

We have been crazy busy getting our garden ready, and I’m hoping to share some pictures with you here on the blog soon!

We’ve also been busy following Jonathan around on his music tour, and it’s been so fun! Cy and I were in Tulsa this past weekend watching him open for Little Big Town again!

A couple of weeks ago, Jonathan performed at the Tin Roof in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky. Our whole family went up there for four days. While we were back home, our local tv station, WLEX, wanted to interview Jonathan and have him sing a song. Of course, he said yes!

I wanted to share his interview and song with you here on the blog! The first clip is his interview where he talks about his music journey, his hearing loss, and what he’s up to now. The second video is him singing a new song that he has coming out called, “Kentucky In Me.”

When Jonathan sent me the demo of “Kentucky In Me,” a few months ago, I cried. I could hear and feel his heart in this song, and it flooded my heart with all the memories I have of growing up in my home state of Kentucky. Even though I live in Tennessee now, my heart will always belong to Kentucky.

“You can take the girl out of Kentucky, but you can’t take the Kentucky out of the girl.”

I love that Jonathan has that same love for his ol’ Kentucky home and the memories he has of growing up there. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.❤️

Thanks for letting me share this with you today! I hope you enjoyed it!

Jonathan has more tour dates this summer, so maybe he will be near you sometime!

Have a blessed day, friends!

Talk soon!

xoxo, Traci

  1. Wow!!!! Just watched both videos. He did great. You must be so proud. I love how he shares his faith so naturally. God has blessed Him. Thanks for sharing. Have fun touring around watching him. I live in NW Oregon. Looks like he’s not coming our way. Someday maybe.
