Meet our Grandson!
Sweet friends! I am so honored to introduce you to our first grandchild…
HUTCH DANIEL HUTCHERSON, born February 20th, 2025!
He is absolutely perfect and the joy of our lives!
Lucy and Adam got to the hospitla at 1:00 am, and they began inducing her. We all got to the hospital early that moring between 6-7:00 am. They broke her water around 8:00, and her contractions started ramping up.
During the morning, we all just hung out in the waiting room and talked. Sometime around lunch, card playing began to pass the time. 😂

It was so much fun spending time together as we anxiously awaited baby Hutch’s arrival. 🥰
Adam came to see us in the waiting room. I stood up to hug him, and we just rocked back and forth in the tightest hug ever. I know his nerves were high, but I told him he was doing a great job.
As he left the room, my eyes began to fill with tears. I knew the next time I would see my son, he would be holding his. 🥹. What a gift to be his mom!
A few hours later, things got a little scary because Lucy’s contractions wouldn’t spread out, and the baby’s heartbeat was dropping really low. The nurses began talking about a possible emergency C-section. The doctor was enroute, and because fears and nerves were high, Adam and Lucy’s mom laid their hands on Lucy’s stomach and began to pray for Baby Hutch.
Adam said when they finished praying, Hutch’s heart rate began to even out, and Lucy’s contractions began to spread apart. She and the baby remained steady the rest of the time until he was born a few hours later. 🙏🏼🙌🏻 Thank you, Jesus!
Hutch Daniel was delivered safely!… 8 pounds, 2 ounces, 19 1/2 inches long.
A little after the delivery, the grandparents were able to go in and see baby Hutch. Cy is going to be the best grandfather ever!

Lucy did such an incredible job! She is just the sweetest there ever was, and she is already the most amazing mama ever!
My heart can hardly handle the cuteness! We are absolutely over the moon over this baby!
My heart just explodes for Adam, as I know so well how he feels holding his son! Hutch looks just like Adam’s baby pictures, and it is the sweetest thing. I can’t wait to watch Hutch grow and see Adam with him. It just doesn’t get any better!
I’m also looking forward to having Hutch adventures here at Still Waters! Sania will show him the chickens, and he can go fishing with Cy. Of course, he can hang out with me in my garden!🌼
