I AM CLEAN

Hey friends!

We have a rainy Sunday here in Kentucky, and I just got up from a great Sunday afternoon nap after church.  Aren’t those the best?!

There is a song that I have been wanting to share with you all a while.  I heard it on the radio one day in my car, and peace filled my heart while hearing it.

It’s called Clean by Natalie Grant.  (I follow Natalie on Instagram and watch her instastories faithfully.  She doesn’t know it yet, but we are best friends.  ha!  Isn’t it funny how following someone on social media can make you feel like best friends in real life?  I swear if I bumped into Natalie one day, I would be like, “Hey girl!” followed by a big hug, and she would be like, “Um.  Do I know you?” hee.hee.)

Anyway…

This song just touches my heart because I think at some point in every one of our lives, we feel unworthy of God’s love.  For some of us, we struggle with it daily.  We feel broken.  Shattered.  Maybe we feel like are sins are too dirty or too bad for God to ever forgive us?  Maybe we feel too far gone.

But friends, we are NEVER too far gone to be found by the love of Christ.  And we can NEVER do something so bad that His GRACE and FORGIVENESS cannot make us clean.

There is so much hurt in this world, and I have friends in my own life right now that are in very dark places.  And I can see in their eyes that they feel like they are beyond reach.  But they are not.  God’s love can heal and restore even the most broken of lives.  I’ve seen it in my life and in countless lives of others, and it is beautiful.

Our brokenness is why He gave His life for us on the cross.  And just as God raised Christ from the dead, He can take what is dead in us and bring it to life again!  HALLELUJAH!

May the words of this song soak deep into your heart and bring healing upon you.  May you begin to celebrate and be filled with joy when you realize the amazing love that Jesus has for you!

Love you, friends!!

  5. Hi Traci! Funny how God works! I sing with a group of 3 other ladies at church and guess which song we are singing in church Sunday? That’s right! CLEAN!! Sunday is The Lord’s Supper and I thought this song would be perfect. What a beautiful reminder that no matter how dirty we may see ourselves, God’s blood can make us clean if we just accept the mercy that He offers freely! God is so gracious!!! Thank you for bringing this song to so many others to enjoy.
