Having Fun at Relevant!

Just wanted to do a quick post to let you know that my sis and I are in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at the Relevant 10 Conference.

We drove through the night last night to get to our hotel.

Here we are in our room before lunch.

We were blessed to have lunch at Chili’s with these fabulous ladies…

Melissa, Beth, my sister, me, Myra, and Tracy

(Debbie also joined us after the picture was taken.)

Here we are at the hotel after lunch…

I was so happy to finally meet my blog buddy, Beth, in person!  It is so funny how you can feel like you already know somebody that you have never met in real life.  But Beth was just as beautiful as I expected…inside and out!  Beth isn’t attending Relevant but lives near by and coordinated our lunch date.  Thanks, Beth!

I will be posting some more pictures of our Relevant experience soon, but that is all for now.  It’s bedtime!  :)

If you haven’t entered my giveaway for a $75.00 gift card to Lowe’s, click HERE to enter.  The giveaway ends Friday at midnight and I will annouce the winner on Saturday!  Good luck!

  1. Looks like so much fun!! Maybe next year….I’m only 2 hours away (I used to live only 20 mintues from Harrisburg!)

You ladies are so beautiful…have an amazing time!!

  2. I’m so glad you got to go, Traci, and I know you’re having a great time! I wish I were there with you. . . but then again, this would have been a bad time for me to be away from home, so I’m glad I’m here. I’m especially glad you were able to get away from school–I’m guessing you needed a little break from 3rd graders, even though you love them! You and Cyndi have a great time.

By the way, do you know Heather from Butterfly Genes? She’s there–I think she’s singing. She’s a precious friend, and her mom just died a couple of weeks ago. If you don’t already know her, maybe you can meet her–she’s a precious soul. :)

    Love ya!

  3. I hope you have a blast in Harrisburg. My parents lived there when my dad was stationed in the army there back in WWII! (I came a long way later in life for them) Ha!

You and your sister are just adorable!

  4. Awwww you and Cyndi look SOO cute! I wish I was there to talk to you gals in person and give you big hugs : ( My little one woke up with a bad fever last night and actually wound up throwing up in our bed. Uh, yeah…so, I’m actually glad that I’m home to take care of him this weekend. Poor little thing! Maybe next year will work out? I hope so!

Hope you all are having a WONDERFUL time!!
    Lots of love : )

I just read about your son’s stitches. OH MY!!! I am glad he has his momma home.

    Love you BIG,
    Darlene

  6. So great meeting you and so wish you would have cropped that pic of us :). I need a better bra or something. Just doesn’t look right! Excited to know what you thought of the conference. From all the tweets it looked like people were incredibly blessed by it!
